Thanks! Yeah, I like the lineart better here. The Donald one is entirely without sketching.... one of my "clever" ideas popping into my mind at one am.  ::)

I'm not quite sure what he is. Sort of a northern cyclops is my closest guess. Who aparantly likes Enigma.

Tried some shading. :)

This started out as a try to loosen my grip. Usually I hold the pencil and the pen in a iron grip. Which ends in me having craps. Today I managed to not do it. Yay!

Colored with color pencil and Faber Castell Pitt Artist pen.

I think Elea was doing the coloring of the fan translated ones. Or at least I think she has the links. You could ask her. :)

Don't worry about it, take your time. I'm patient (how can I not when I have enough fanfics request to keep me busy until 2020 XD)

D'oh, didn't see that you had colored his skin before now! Nice! Can't wait to see the finished result.

Aw, I'm sorry your day was bad. Can I cheer you up with Chandeen's version of In Power We Entrust the Love Advocated?Chandeen - In Power We Entrust the Love Advocated] Chandeen - In Power We Entrust the Love Advocated Of course, as good at it is, it cannot beat the original Brendan Perry - In Power We Entrust The Love Advocated (from Dead Can Dance"The Hidden Treasures"). but Chandeen's version is like a bath to take away aches.

Almost a year ago I stumbled upon my first comic, written when I was fifteen. It is so fun to find old treasures like that. For me it was a mix of emotions. First the "oh, I remember this, I was so proud," over to the "I was to artistic" with sarcasm, "I was not inspired by ElfQuest at all" with sarcasm again, "plot, where are you," to outright laughter. Not sure if yours did, but I'm sure you had fun reading it over.

As much as I like the Tim Burton movies, he shines best in The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy.

I loved Munich. (gah, it is so odd to spell it that way and not München like they do in Norwegian and German.) Little awkward sometimes, working behind the counter and not speak the language enough. Ended up with some bad German, some Norwegian, tiny bit of Italian and french, apologetic smiles and a lot of waving arms. (Actually the ones who knew English was a lot more rude than those who couldn't, come to think of it.)  :lol Good times...

I've never liked Naruto to be honest. Mostly because my brother fawned over it, thus I automatically despised it. When I tried reading it later, I fell asleep after the first six pages. XD

What I'd like is a image of Captain Darling from Blackadder Goes Forth. If you haven't watched that series, it is the last season in the Blackadder series, set to World War I. Preferably a capture of the wonderful "twitch of horror" when general Melchett tells him he has been holding him away from the "fun" and commissions him to join the attack the forces are going to do in the morning. Which is a suicide mission, more or less.

Here is a youtube link. The whole scene with Melchett and Darling goes from 05.20 and ends in 07.51.

S4E6P2-2 Blackadder Goes Forth - Goodbyeee

If that is too hard, then I'd love a drawing of Donald Duck.

:D

The last one of the vampire stash reminds me a lot of how I view Akasha, the vampire queen from the vampire chronicles. (Actually the only vampire series I halfway cared about. Book one was blah, second was good, third awesome, never finished the fourth...)

Anyway, I love the way you handle colors. It is so alive and pretty. :D

I can't read German, despite having worked in Munich for a short period in 2009. I do recognize some words, and others are so close that I can understand it. I think I get the main message. I do agree that there is perhaps a little too much brown certain places, but I think it is alright. The creatures they're domesticating are really colorful and pretty.

Looking forward to seeing the finished calendar pics! :D

Btw, if anyone have a request, Elfquest or not, I'll be glad to comply :D I'm always looking for stuff to draw as my own imagination too often fails me xD

Does this offer still run?

Tried drawing Donald Duck again. I love doing different poses of him, especially the more challenging ones, where he is running, jumping or lying on the stomach looking very displeased.  ::)

What I was trying to draw. The pose was chosen because of the way he holds his arms and hands.

What came of mine. Some places I inked the wrong line, and the left arm had to be taken away in photoshop because it looked so awful.

Bah. Should work on my new norwegian short story. Exam is not far away, and i still haven't been able to deliver anything for the course, always something comes up and makes me into a shivering mess.

Did some lazy edits on the same base on above post.

Hopefully this looks more like it is made by wood.

This one was a challenge. Usually when editing pixels, I start from dark to light. It is easier to not make them too wide from each other that way. Here, with the strings, I tried from light to dark, seeing that I was going to use white. Corel Paintshop isn't kind on grey and white colors, way too easy to delete the lines by accident.

In that moment you excuse yourself, and leave the dinner table. Quickly depart the restaurant, seeking the comfort of a pristine bathroom. Luckily all of the doors have the white streak on them. Turning towards the mirror, you stare into wide eyes. Inhale, you think. Exhale. Remember the smell of a forest cleansed by water. Inhale.

You are getting worse.

Once you'd order the burger. Homemade with beef ground in the restaurant. Two strips of rich smoked bacon on top. A salad made of sprouts, grilled bread with a very thin glaze of balsam vinegar. Father would smile and speak to you in the most terrible voice. As if you were a child. You would ignore it of course, because it is way more fun to deliberately eat food which is bad for you when others stress it.

Perhaps it is the exam again, sneaking up on you. Cannot be safe, not even in the mountains. Turning the tap towards the blue side, you soak your hands in water. It is only a temporary escape, but your mind goes all kinds of quiet. In that moment you don't even miss your beloved iPod.

A moment later, you turn the water off. Taking one last look at your acne infested face, cursing the period for the fifth time, you go back to your seat. The waiter comes as soon as you've done that, looking at you with curious pity. Most likely thinking that you are bulimic.

Your eyes narrow.

"May I have the reindeer sirloin please?"

Sort of illustration to above story. Happened to me on the 23 rd of November. Usually i keep off those things, but that night was just after a really terrible night sitting up crying, and I felt... like I was functioning again.

I'm going to take a wild guess and state she'd steal Atalus' jacket a lot?

You were saying?  ;D

Yes, that would be nice.

D'oh! Yes, you're right.

I'm rather androgenous in body. You see I'm female now because I have boobs now. Before that they were so small and I dress in loose clothing, so no one saw. Tried to generate that in her.

Tried making my troll oc again. Pink is my true color, the one to my shadow self. But my character said a very loud no to be a sea dweller. Which she would be if she had pink blood. So I made her a blue-blood.

Your name is Teskje Skriva. You are six solar sweeps old. You have varity of interests, but mostly writing. You have six hundred writing books and write everywhere you go. However none of your stories ever finish. You have a passion for the sea, but you dare not go too close, in case you meet a seadweller. You have a fondness for drawing, but you aren't good at it. It is the only thing you allow yourself to hate. You are destined to become the Prince of Hate. You are not sure why you are going to be a prince when you are in fact female. You have no quadrants filled. You steal things when you are not drawing or writing about the ocean.

Yeah, that wiki is horrible. I only go there to check the names of some characters or cloth designs.

The art varies a lot. From chibi's to this...

I think this hair is the best you've ever drawn. Seriously, it looks so right on a Homestuck character.

You know, your style really works well with Homestuck in general. I love your troll. He is so cute, and looks friendly. Especially the jacket. I want to steal it. And wear it.

One of the things I love about Homestuck is that the art varies so glubbing much in the comic, it leaves room for even novices like me to draw in whatever style we want. Another thing is how rich and complex the characters are without turning into ideals. But Hussie is kill happy though.  :-\

I tried to make some smooth lines again. I rather like this one.

:D I love drawing Eridan, and that one is one of my favorites, especially because it was a ballpoint pen drawing. I know the lines are rough and not the smooth and beauty of my last add, but it seems more alive with rougher lines. So me happy you like!

Aw, thanks. I was actually surprised to hear people having trouble with them. For me they work alright. Need to be a little careful of course, but all in all I don't think it is that hard. First try ever wasn't that good I admit. But I just smashed colors on top on it, so ain't surprised that didn't work.

After seeing some pen art done by http://owlings.deviantart.com/gallery/ I wanted to try my hand at it.

I was thinking about people having OCD when doing this. I know some people who has it, and I think it is sad that they have to deal with it. At the same time ones tries to be supportive. Dealing with them when they have the "why couldn't I be like you" looks is rather painful, so is knowing that they blame you for not being perfect after their standards. You know it is the OCD which does that, yet it doesn't always help.

Enough about that. I call it "A crow into a tree"

*Blinks a couple of times, rereads text twice, looks at dolls, looks to muse who's lying on floor due to fainting from happiness, looks back to dolls, rereads text again, counts to 10.*

Startear, if you stop I'm going to spam every account/mailbox of yours I can find til I get banned for it. :lol

But seriously, they look fantastic. Probable the best I've seen from you yet. :)
It's not out of character if Uli is drunk/high on dreamapples. She tends to be very forward/blunt/overly happy and very quick to let it be known if she wants to 'dance' with one of her furmates in her drunken persona. It usually IS Beyond she ends up with.
And he would be giving her that look.
Heck, her drunk persona smiles more then the true Uli persona does.

He would? I've kept thinking that the look is the most out of character thing in this.  :-[

But sure, if it pleases I'll continue... after that darn exam is over.
