I really want to join but I need to get back to you. It's kind of hard for me to pick out favorite scenes and characters.  There are so many good ones!

I'm currently in the inking stage of my illustration, I hope to finish in the first few weeks. At the rate and fun I'm having I'll maybe do one more.

I have a general love for the characters of the past, like Rahnee, and the kids, like Trinket, Bowki and Chitter. But my absolute favorite character is Chot. At first I liked him because he was so different from other elves, all angles and general lack of grace. He was allowed to fail and be made a fool of, something I felt the main characters after a while stopped doing. But also when he was in the Sun Village after being awakened from the wrapstuff. He was lonely and bored, by his own doing. A character flaw by sure, but one that I can relate to a lot.

Favorite storyline would be Kings of the Broken Wheel.

Berit, I like your idea about the background and lesser known characters. I used the obscure ones in my submissions, failed or otherwise. However I feel like that theme could potenially just draw in the hardcore fans. Besides there is a lot of discussion on WHO is a background character.

Oh, I like the idea of the characters with their bonded animals!

Omg! Please! :D

That being said, I really like cubs and daily life.

I like living dangerously. And I like spanking, so that was why I am running close.

Nah, just kidding. I was ready to send yesterday at 19.00 pm (my time) but due to time zones and waiting for a reply, I didn't get to send it before now. But I sent it! Hopefully there are no hiccups!

What is a good alternative to photobucket?

So I don't have many pictures of my apartment, it being a city scape and all, the only pictures I have are like. Two years old? And taken when I was looking for a new roommate, lmao. I'm going to work on that. In the mean time, I have some images of where I have been working this summer, Dagali. Which is a tiny speck in the mountains, I work there as a guide on the museum. These were taken in July-August so they are already a while ago, but I hope you enjoy!

The girls next door to the museum!

And a picture of some things I did to occupy my time when there was few customers... weaving bracelets!

I'm currently wrestling with three ideas. Ekuar with snow, Ekuar with Kahvi and a deer, and Ekuar with random Go-Back kids. I'm personally the biggest fan of the last two ones.

I'm also open to do some marker coloring if anyone wants to collaborate!

One contrast that immediately popped into my mind was Snow country and the Sun village. One colored in warn light and the other in cold light. And Jethel, an elf leading a band of misfit kids.

12 months of Ekuar would be really something, huh?  :lol

For quick reffrences, I'd suggest elfeneyes gallery; http://www.elfquestfanart.com/index.php?action=profile;u=8;area=aeva. For body variations it might be better to go to the comics, but it is a gold mine.

I almost feel that since we have voted on contrasts but declined it so often, we need to do it at an anniversary.  ;)

Man, I haven't posted here in a while! I'm not even going to try to bring everything over. But since Berit and I had an discussion on body positivity, and how many people either don't bother to draw fat or plus size (depends on which term you prefer) people or just draw what they think is pretty... I've been trying to draw double chins. Why? well, it's one of the things I'm a bit self conscious about myself.

Yesterday I think I finally figured it out while drawing Allone the graceful, my adventure character from Tradewinds Odyssey. Only nation where your character can be plus size is greek, which is a shame. (The gals from Persia have a rally cool wardrobe, and the hair of the African ladies is to die for.) She used to dance a lot, and when her husband passed away, she took out some savings, sold her house, bought a ship, and set out to start a new life. She is now trading across the Aegean, earning extra money on doing odd jobs. Everything from making wine, piracy, hunting giant squids and even some fetch quests from the Gods.

I wasn't too happy with the drawing on lower part, so I conveniently cut that off. XD
