''Marakka head the sound of dancing fire and voices in the distance, echoes bouncing of the rock walls of the cold Avalin mountain range. He heard the echo of one specific voice that made the typically grinning rockshapers face turn into a mask of building anger.
He turned his attention away from the rocks he was shaping, letting them take on more bizarre shapes then intended. He had originally intended to merely fix them up after Zharo had, earlier in the day, for some odd reason decided that specific part of the cliffs were an outright ' abomination' and 'had to die' and had torn it to pieces.''
Marakka shapes some damn weird stuff when he get's angry.
I've been chatting with DestinysGift over skype and in one session she sent a story part and a what-if question to the part, and it got me to do a write an au fic and a comic-ish comic to it.

No one hates Liev more than Marakka...
I feel really sorry for Liev, technically he's my fictional child and I subjected him to this torture... Buuuut someone had to.  Very nice, love all the rock details and Marakka's face... Would not want to mess with him! |

Haha, his angry-disturbed face is spot-on again. I especially like the stone face "framed" with hands. It looks like some multi-handed god pondering about something.

Makes you wonder just what he's thinking to create such images in rock since they definitely seem to flow readily from his hand. There certainly is no mistaking Marakka's mood, and I agree he does not look like one to tangle with. He's awfully cute, though, so maybe I would tangle with him...ahem...anyway, the shading is wonderful in here and brings out the images he's shaping as well Marakka himself. I keep trying to see, though; is he using HIS left or right hand to shape? It seems like he's using his right hand which would make his hand on backwards, or maybe it's the bindings on his fingers that give that appearance. Tricky little guy, isn't he!

Tricky little guy, isn't he!He's using his left hand. I think it's the bindings that kinda screw it up. Then again, I added the bindings because I screwed up the look of his hand.
