I  just  Love  Trueflight !    She deserves her own story.   How did you find out her  "colors"  ?  ?    The background is Brilliant  because is calls attention to her eyes, like Bam ! Two thumbs up.

Thanx  Afke !   Very nice to see  more  of this Artist.   This Site houses  (dens)  a lot of Talent.   I have been honored and Happy to find a New elf - art home that I can share my imagination with.

This is just Wonderful  !  !     It  appeals to me as an ELFQUEST'er  and as a fellow Rockshaper.  I really like the use of minimalism;  not to much, never to little, to tell a story.   Does 'unregistered' mean that this Artist is not on the site anymore ?  Or never was ?

Heh, heh  AMBERFOX.   Yes we should.

More ?  At 4 a week, with me usually only on the WWW every 2 weeks or sooo.  .  .  that will take a very long time !   The only reason I have bn here so much recently is because I am in Recovery from Emergency Abdominal Surgery.    Split down the middle.    Can't do much.   Bored as H*** ! !     5 weeks of no sculpting, no drawing, no jewelry and no painting !   AAaaarrrgh !
In FarSight of SweetWater Holt - Posted Jul 24, 2012
Yes she is related to CHANGESTONE.    This is one set of twins you liked so much in a  'Family'  portrait. (The one where he is getting his braid grabbed to get his attention?)   Grown and, yes, sexy as H*^#.    I think the costume design helps a lot in that regard.    *Grin*     I cannot take credit for many of the outfits in my former Holt.   The Players behind their personalities and design all Rock.     This  she - Cub is real trouble for her brother and fellow siblings . . ah . .cubmates.

Your comments never fail to intrigue me AMBERFOX !   I would Love to teach you to Sculpt.   A good eye cannot be taught.

We, SweetWater Holt, Played, Camp-fired (our Howls) and Rolled our stories AMBERFOX.  Since the Recognition was forced due to exposure to Magic, it left us vulnerable to Magic.  Every time we encountered a Magic object or piece of the Palace we Recognized  (lost the roll).  Golly  !  !

Some of my earlier fan art shows my  Cubs  STARTEAR. ( If you want to see them in my Gallery)  My Recognition births were 3,2,1,2,and 3.  Our Club had strong wolfblood so we elves could literally Litter;  three or less.   The Club Rolled or Writers Conclaved each story.   All Recognitions were volunteer only.   No one could be forced.   But to keep the element of surprise the PC names were put into a hat.   It made for a great form of anticipation !

R - Colored Pencils.  I layer four colors; so by the forth layer it smooths everything out.  This technique was found by accident, and a desire to GET the look I wanted.  I am almost there.

You are the first to Notice .  . something  about the necklace in the 'future' version.  Your reading is not off  AMBERFOX; my imagination was just working over time to make a drawing with double meaning.

I would hate to think Our memories Date us AMBERFOX ! -  It was before the Net. -  Before Computers were more than just a really fancy typewriter.   They made a Club flyer easier, but you still had to tape and re-copy to get a drawing on it !   Our Club was using a typewriter to do our Fanzines for almost two years before someone, I think It was our Chieftess, got a old Computer.   I still remember sitting in the (Copy) store for hours and hours to print out over 35 Fanzines, sort them, staple them, etc.  It was Fun.

Believe it STARTEAR !   That is exactly what I am saying !    But it wasn't just the Pini's - Disney, Warner Bros, Hanna-Barberra, and more;  they all Protected their LOOK and  cartoon characters from being used for profit or over exposure.   It makes sense from a financial point of View.   Disney - R  still does it.   They have laws about putting Their characters up on schools, or in promotions.  Heck.  I still remember when Cartoons were allowed to sell  Beer and Cigarettes ! !   Seems strange doesn't it ?  ?

Yay, Yay!  !   Good to hear from you AMBERFOX .    R - Full body.    When the full body is really small I never try to get the pupils right.  I just love how it looks to color in the whole shape of the eye = better to see the color and gives it a  'Wolf'  in the dark  Look.

Pose   .    .  Um, Hey !   Weird !   I get ya.    Not intentional, but very understandable as I have read, and re-read every  Comic  and graphic  Novel  maybe a few dozen/billion times.   Since she was speaking out in Council  for the shot I wanted her to look determined, and to look like she had just thumped her chest.    Now I will be tempted to go back and See if I have done that before.   Curious and curiouser;  Just how much ELFQUEST is stuck inside my head and Talent  ? ? ?

I worked for a Whole Summer at the very base of those Mountains in Boulder.    It was my first Everything; plane ride, away from home etc   .   .   .  I just love Colorado.  I have had many opportunities to visit as my best friend lived there for almost 10 years.  Happy Trails  !  !

I really like how you captured the tilt and lower of her head.   Foreshortening and panoramic are dang hard to do.  Please keep the art coming  BRANCHSCAMPER !

I love your Gallery.   And Yes I must also say the way you layer cloth and clothes is Really Nice.  You have given credit to those who created the outfits and I agree that, for me,  other people just do better on clothing design.    If I live long enough I hope to do all new drawings of my Holt's  Characters.  Especially a character named TRUELIFE (a Healer), as I always though her Player should have gone into Costume Design.

Your coloring is  'top drawer'.   It always looks so professional.     Happy Summer wherever you are MIDNIGHT !  !

I really like how the Title matches the Mood and Colors that you used.  Those Copic markers seem Waay Cool.   Did it take you long to learn them  ? ?  I hope you stay in Wolf-mode for a little while longer as I am really enjoying the work and the inspiration.

ThanX  for the Wolf File.  It has been great to see and study.   A wonderful idea to share with us fellow Questers !

I just love the way you have captured her expression !  Wendy's facial movements are Epic and hard to live up to.  But This is dead-straight on !   The worry   .    .    .  the sadness;  perfect  enough  to  make    me **Sigh**.

AAaahhh.  A pencil in the hand is worth two callous' a day.  I used Lead pencils for over 30 years.  Had to give them up for Graphite / Mechanical.   Have to say I Love the shades of grey I get !

Sccccaa-Wweeee     RUNESINGER     You are here ! ! !    Welcome !    Welcome!     Thank you for Playing and Creating such a beautiful  OC / PC  Character that  I  Always  want to draw her !

I know you are very busy;  but if I send you the pencil version (so you can edit the hair to look more shaggey-curley like Your drawings) will you  color her ?  ?    Did you get to see the Autumn Twins from waaaaay far back ?   I have no Idea how to color Them because you made their hair  too Super Cool.

All the very best to you and yours.   Much Happiness to see you here.   I have missed your talent and eye for detail !  !    The Sculpting World is lucky to have you.    HUUUGGGS!
In Rahnee  -  Bookmarker - Posted Jul 20, 2012
Hell-O   STARTEAR   !       You are Not overreading - in fact you are very observant.     Rahnee is indeed a Elf with more than enough troubles; I would not have wanted the split duty of such a rag-tag mix of Tribemates.

Even though the Wolf Logo was hand drawn in minimalism, I didn't want Warp to have to  'chase it down'  all over the Net.   I already made that mistake once before I found  a small version of the New Fandom Rules.   Truley my Rules are over a decade out of date.   Before we could not draw Cc  (Copyrighted characters) of Warp Graphics.  .   . Just imagine !  -  Except to Star in the  Lodestone - R  (a fan pamphlet) put out by Warp.
In Rahnee  -  Bookmarker - Posted Jul 17, 2012
Hey  there TREEFOX !     I always loved to draw Rahnee, hair and all, but found the hair really hard to sculpt in the early years of my dimensional schooling.  This style came about as a solution that I could sculpt the Pony and braids separate and attach.

I will be getting a  11 x 16  Scanner in August and lessons in September.  So I am waiting to use and laminate it until I can color it and "center" the  ElfQuest - R   banner.   It will be used, and My Holt has asked for copies for various birthdays and holiday gifts.   Gladly given.   Honored to be asked.  And I am not above using them for trade to get some new art work out of Them.   *Wink*     I am only half as good as I am because  They  challenged  Me ;  encouraged me and became my loving friends and second family !

In Color -  Necklace  of  Remembrance - Posted Jul 17, 2012
Thank You TREEFOX.    If I squint my eyes a little I can see what you mean about the guide lines for her face.  I don't see them because they are my outlines for shade and  color.  But they are a sculptor's tool and I have become reliant on them.  Just chalk it up to my own personal style I guess.    *grin*    Ten years of not drawing has left it's mark.   She sure does Shine in all the Autumn Colors !  !    And the gold-green eyes were very hard to do.
