So here´s my part of the quartely art contribution. I love autumn and Windkin was the perfect character to represent that season. I couldn´t help but give him some new clothes, since it´s a cold and windy scenery. Up in the air he should wear proper clothes anyway, also I must admit I can´t stand his canon outfits. §&%R$/$ snakeskin.... &%$&&§ black porn swimsuit... x_________x Such a handsome lad in such tasteless rags... it´s a shame! v__v So I gave him some Glider inspired outfit ^^

 Whoa! This is awesome! Not only is autumn my favorite season, I absolutely love the fact that you drew Windkin! He's been through so many weird incarnations, this is the Windkin I want to see. His outfit is great. Oh yes, that snakeskin outfit...  The colors and composition are so great! Man, we're getting really a lot of entries on this. Makes me happy! |

OMG, this is amazing! I love this! Please do lots and lots more! I love the sky and the trees and the birds and how he really looks like he's moving and not just sitting there in the air, and all the gorgeous autumn colors. Plus I love seeing a Windkin who isn't unhappy-looking. In EQ it's always seemed to me that flying makes an elf unhappy. Tyldak, Aroree, Rayek, Windkin...all with major dark sides. Flying would make me ecstatic!

Yes! Poor, poor Windkin -- just from an aesthetic standpoint, I've felt like the poor guy has never lived up to his potential! I really like this outfit, but then, I tend to like more subdued things, anyway. I especially like that this serves to illustrate his name, as well.

Everyone is so fast, I haven't even started.
 This is awesome, I love the colour choices and his costume is great too. Although I can't say I'm not a fan of the occasional porn swimsuit, weather permitting. |

The mood and colours in this is just beautiful. It makes me wanna go for a long walk in the forest and appreciate the colours of Autumn, but alas!

And you are so right "handsome lad-tasteless rags". Your take on a Glider outfit is really nice. It complements him so well. And, damn, those colors and the movement -niiiiiiiice ! I was toying with the idea of a picture of him and Audri . . . their reunion warmed my heart. . . |

So cool! nice colors you chose! the leaves, sky and Windkin's clothes, I must admit that I'm with you in the thing that he needed new clothes SO BAD! I mean, this may sound silly, but every time I read the comics where he has the black... porn thing... I end up covering parts with my thumbs so that I wouldn't have to see all those... cracks and... well... you know!... anyway! let's not delve in the crack part any further! so nice art and absolutely magnificent work!

Thank you so much! Heh, seems there are many with me about his outfits. xD
I first painted the sky in a light orange-pink sunset, but then went with the teal thing cuz I wanted it to look more windy and stormy and dramatic like autumn weather really is, and it also brings out the colors of the leafs so nicely. A good decision it seems, since you guys praise it so much. The colors of the leafs I eyedropped from a photo of an autumn forest, so those are real autumn leaf colors. I love how they change and get those really bright colors. It´s amazing! |
