Napkin Marut and Terra
by Berit
Heya! long time no see! I've finally got my scanner working, so I can submit some art! you now, I'm actually obsessed in drawing, I do that daily, even in places others wouldn't draw. this picture here I did while I was on a metal working course. the place itself is so full of metal dust, blade oil and other things that might dirty paper, and when I didn't have my sketchbook with me, I suddenly got an urge to draw something... and there it was, paper napkins! and someone had left a ballpoint pen right next to them!... of course I couldn't help myself!... and thus, this picture was made, the characters are Marut (my character) and Terra (Luna's character)...

On a napkin? That's interesting. I did that as child. I'm amazed it didn't rip apart XD That happened often to me ^^'
The drawing is cute I love your style and your character a lot Very nice ! |

well, I think anythinng goes when I'm desperate enough! well, I think ballpoint pen might be the only suitable pen when drawing on a napkin, the ink in markers makes the paper wet and fragile, and woodcolors tore the paper right open, thank you both for the commets!...

You and your napkins! But I really like how this came out - it looks almost like an old portrait photograph!

Seriously - how do you mangage to do this without tearing the paper?
I like how they turned out. Terra has such a sweet face! And that tree is in the background is a nice touch! |

well, you just have to be careful when drawing on a napkin, and it always helps if you have a pile of napkins below the napkin you are drawing on!... that minimizes the pressure of the pen you're drawing with...
