In Mender Healing spell - Posted Yesterday
Creating a color reference for a character is always good, I think! He's looking really good in this! Hey, he can send those healing spells to me any time!

Aww, that's a bitter-sweet story about the tortoise. But it's very considerate of your mom to check if it wasn't someone's lost pet.

Oooh, I love the Jim Morrison connection! It's definitely the hair but also the shirtless outfit! I love the Doors, too. Gew up with their music.

Digital drawing with a mouse is a pain in the butt! Getting a pen/tablet helps so, so much. And as I have said before, it also took me ages to get into it...

Oh gee, this old pic of mine! :) I am all for taking those clothes off! But it was still fun to draw them. Please, please show us your dice character one day!

Oh yes! Putting him in the fitting Sun Village setting is pretty neat.

The bangs are awesome! And I am happy that I get to enjoy your gorgeous shading.

It took me soooo long to get the hang of digital drawing... using a tablet has really changed everything for me. So much easier! Do you have a digital pen or would you use a mouse?

Awww, you actually brought home critters? That's so cute. I had to look up what a gopher tortoise is. Wow! Not the smallest tortoise...

Wow, the different shades of violet and green in his shirt look so, so good! I can imagine that the original looks better. It's really something I enjoy about digital drawing that the colors look closer to what I imagined. Even though the screen you use is also changing a lot...

Hahaha, how great ist this! Aww, Songjoy is so considerate. He doesn't want to spoil the cub's fun. You've been really productive! And I don't think Yeee's face looks distorted at all... maybe it's the differently colored eyes? All looks great to me.

Oooh, it's so interesting how color changes the mood of a pic. The white with green accents go excellently with his hair. And all the details on his jewelry. Awesome!

But it works well with just a minimal background (or underground). Love the soft colors. What gorgeous eyes! And the pants just look so soft and velvet-y, I want to touch them.

Hellooooooo!!! Wow, so much new art from Amberfox! Yay! *fans herself* This is a hot look! Very inviting. An look at those shiny, thick and silky locks of hair. Love it. Your inking is top-notch as usual. I am curious how his hair color will evolve.

Oh, he looks hot! I can't really say why, but I like his stance. He looks so self-confident which is utterly fitting. I also liked his "original" outfit or the outfit we get to know him in as an adult.

Oh gosh! This, again, is adorable! I just love your style so much! Such a sweet pic and a really original idea to show these two interacting and having fun with each other. The perspective and dynamics are awesome! Truly the blurred effect is used here so well!

Aww, thank you so much!
Concerning the little cat, she was shown having that cat as a pet on several comic pages. That's where I got it from. And the desert cat was a great representation of Leetah in animal form to me.
Haha, I get to draw many animals I have never drawn before! The snake for Rayek was also my first snake ever, I think.

Yaaaay! Thanks for posting something! He is GOREGOUS! Your colors are so smooth, like velvet. Love it always. Wow, he looks like a fierce warrior. Such a nice body! Wow. This very fiery color scheme just looks so cool. And with fitting hair color as well. Also, his hair style is wicked and I like his golden tiara/crown. So many details to discover. Looking forward to see your character!
I also want to do my next portrait, but I am still fighting with the calendar sketch... it is not coming along as planned... :-\

Awwww!! Thank you so, so very much! Like Amberfox, I was hoping that you would like my Rayek portrait.
The cape actually includes very stylized symbols for the Go-Backs, Gliders, Sun-Folk and a hardly visible bit of Wolfrider. The spear is actually Kahvi's spear that she
had in the Original Quest. My way of including her. :)
And I absolutely wanted to show him facing the future with resolve and hope. I hope we'll get to see what's next for him.
BTW, I didn't get the meaning of these coins either....

Thank you so much, Maggie! Coming from a digital master like yourself, this means a lot to me.
It really is so different from using traditional mediums, I built up the structure of the pictures in a completely different way. Another thing about these two portraits is, that they took time, a lot of time. I really refined and re-drew so many things. That helped getting closer to what I originally envisioned.
And, of course, getting better and better in using the software is another big factor. So, I want to keep improving!
Your feedback is always such a great motivation!
