So, every time nilla has asked for name giving, I've said McLovin, after watching this silly fan video. [Homestuck] John Gets His Name Changed Yesterday, I tried to entertain myself, and ended up drawing a guy called McLovin. Irish RnB artist, better musician than a songwriter. No one knows his first name.

Oh yes, I very much did.

Since I think mostly in lines, it is fun to not use 'em.

Yesterday I painted a bit more. Forgive the quality of the first one, Had to take a picture, since my scanner made the sky of the tree pink. And the house elf did,'t fare much better either.

And some kitsch things painted on organic paper.

Could you tell me what's on the first? I keep seeing a decapitated head, 3 snow covered hills, 3 trees and one moon?

I absolutely love the pink leafed trees.

To me they look like they has the same quality as other art work I've seen elsewhere. Very nicely done.

That's a lot of things to see.

It is supposed to be a house elf portrait. And in the corner, a moon shining trough the clouds on some winter trees. Usually I don't take pictures unless it is for my tumblr, but as said, the scanner muted the house elf and made the gray sky pink.

I'm glad you like the trees. When I started out I felt so kitsch, but I've grown to like them now.

Autumn tree

Kvitulven asked me to draw a similar tree to the sakura one, this time in brown.

Sometimes, I get gripped by intense anger, which must be relived with breaking glass. (Not to hurt, the sound alone satisfies me.) Afterwards, I painted this.

So, I was in the city, and my mother gave me some money. Went to Søstrene Grene, a Danish shop who has cheap art supplies. bought a lot of canvas' and some acryllic paint. First image with acryllics in more than a year (and that was a finger paint to boot.)

Then, I was going to try wet on wet watercolor teqnique, but hated it. So instead I did a simple sakura tree painting on 10 X 10 canvas. When my little cousins saw the finished piece and asked me to give it to them, then started fighting, offered me money, and started bidding over each other until one of them couldn't hold the pace anymore.

So now I am one painting poorer, and 50 norwegian kr richer.

Interesting, it almost looks like you painted the same tree in different seasons. So lovely. I hope selling your painting was satisfactory. I must admit that it always flatters me, when people are ready to spend money for my stuff. Also feels a bit strange, though.
Like the self-portrait a lot, love the clothing. Is that a bandana?
(like to wear bandanas myself, without any connection to Nightfall)

Yes, it was very much satisfactory and flattering. It was rather strange though. OMG I sold something, given recognition, why is this happening, oh cool money, wtf, why do they want it? Was the thoughts running through my head.

No, it isn't really a bandana. More of a scarf thing, used inmproperly, because I choke when wearing them around my neck. Excellent to wear if you have short Mick Jagger like hair or just very short wavy. However, bandana's are really cool too. Love wearing them.

I’ve always been fond of doing word collages. Or, maybe that is not the right word for it. Basically you write a word or sentence which catches your attention. They can be from songs, television, etc. Now, the thing is that one has them is random order, no structure, or anything. Centering it around an image, like here is very much fun.

Urgh, I drew this with a marker which my niece forgot last time she was here. Awful things, the marker was perfumed, possibly highly toxic and stung your nose.

But I like the pink tree. Neat. I should also draw something with rain in it.

I have no idea how to pull this off when I draw Rill, but yeah. More realistic than the one in the comics.

A little doodle I did yesterday. Kenneth is an ordinary man who likes football, beer and works as an mechanic.

He was kidnapped by aliens. (Might do a short comic with this story.)

So, story about this is that Kathleen, who is McLovinâ€™s best friend and knows the city (Dublin) almost as well as her hands, fell asleep while enjoying the nice day and got sun burned. After a little groggily standing on her feet, she met people.

On art notes, I was going to draw something grand, celebrating that I had finally applied to schools and life is so wonderful, and I might go swimming tomorrowâ€¦ instead I drew a chibi and canâ€™t find my eraser. DX To top it off, my copic which was what I used for the Caucasian base skin color (E000) is empty. This one (E00) did fine, but only because Kathleen has gotten a slight tan/sun burn from this.

And I've learned that when you don't want streaks, and it is starting to develop, as long as you keep the area wet, then one can stop it from happening.

Rest was done with promarkers and a gel pen.
