Quote Maintaining the "flow" of the sketch is always difficult for me Omg, same! I always love those lovely sketch spreads on instagram but for me it is so hard to keep the flow. I also am guilty of stylizing elements different from sketch to sketch. Anyways, I love your sketches. The quality of your colors are so good. She looks sad or... wistful in a lot of these. And so are the poses. I especially like the ones where she is sitting. |

Haha oh for sure! Keeping things stylised in the same way is definitely difficult. I mostly do these to play around with a character, not to make something super presentable/coherent, so it's all good. Thank you I considered making the left sitting pose into a proper drawing, at the moment it's just a scribble, but it might be cool!

Wow, these are so fluid and graceful. I am absolutely on board with you two concerning losing the flow of the sketch when coloring. For me even worse is inking...
I love that portrait of Ember. She truly looks matured, she's been through her own struggles... wonderful skin and hair color that you have chosen. I also like the little sketch in the lower left corner. <3 |

Inking is so hard! Getting it to still "look alive" and not... just... bad is beyond me lineweights are a mystery to me.
Thank you <3 she's always fun to sketch, looking back at my EQ art, there's a lot of Ember in there |

Funny enough, I have never drawn Ember actually. Hmm, I should remedy that.

I always enjoy your Ember! And it's nice to the evolution of your art in this character.
By chance yesterday I stumbled upon my sketch for the Cutter action shot for the pinup calendars. I was so surprised how good and dynamic it looked compared to the inked version.. |

@Startear, oooo I'd love to see your take on her!
@Treefox, it's so much fun to look back at that sort of thing! I'm curious to see the sketch now, I just went back and found your pinup calendar Cutter and gosh - still so pretty |

@Startear. Love to see Ember from you as well.
These are beautifull poses. They are some kind of sad or lost in thoughts. I do like her with New Moon for many reasons. There is so much to see in her expression. The face tells more than one story for me. New Moon itself looks -ern-kinda misshaped or bended what contibutes more to the sketch than there meant to be ..? As asked for, I would also love to see the left sitting pose in a propper drawing. |

@Yavia - New Moon is definitely a bit misshapen That's entirely an oversight on my part, but I suppose there's a story in there!
I guess the crosslegged scribble is going on my to do list haha! |
