Wonderful picture, I like seeing them together. And their hair just screams DESERT, awesome, that warm glow!

Especially when one looks at this picture in its full size it seems like you are really sure of where to put each line and each color stroke. Did you make any sketch or pre-drawing for this at all? Absolutely lovely work! Your drawing and coloring skills are simply amazing.

Thanks for сomments!!!
To be honest, I really have no idea how to paint. I always do it at random. х) and I think this job is not finished, but I'm so tired of it! I have a sketch for this pic and it seems more alive. |

I really like this picture! The positions and movement are great. I have only one complaint -- why are they so pale? In the comics (at least, the colored versions I read) they're closer to Sun Villager skin tones.

Love this illo, especially Ember. She stands out for me, appearing confident and adoring of her brother at the same time. The hair is almost art nouveau in style, which is always fun. I agree with Razzle that the skin tone on both is rather pale, but maybe it's the light or they've been away from the sun for a long time (hey, I'm just throwing out suggestions). Ember's hand coming from behind Suntop and Suntop's hand braced on her arm seem a little off. Maybe the fingers are too long? There's a spider-like quality to them that is slightly distracting. Hm. Maybe it's just me. You do better fingers than I do!

Lovely expressions on both of them, and I really like the "sketchy" quality of the watercolor, it's very impressionistic and complements the piece really well. I also like how all of the gold in Ember's hair creates a connection with Suntop and emphasizes their twin-ness.
