Cutter and Skywise returned to the holt from a long journey and kids will be kids. Ember and Suntop just couldn't wait for Cutter to show them what he found while travelling and I don't think father is happy about spoilling the surprise. created on canson smooth bristol with Copic multiliners 03-05-08-& Brush. Then gray scaled with Copic sketch markers warm and cool gray series 01 thru 06, and as I usually do I have added only color to the eyes and lips.

Aww, they are in for it!
Ember looks so pretty and Suntop looks adorable. They look like they are in their preteens, but still look like the characters, nonetheless. Great job! |

Haha, I like pictures that tell a story like this one. Nicely done! Simple and effective.

I love their "oooo, what's this" expression. It looks like a illustration for a children's book. I like that very much. My favorite part is that bag, I still struggle with folds and this one is wonderful.
And Cutter's disapproving stance in the shadows is just great. My only slight nitpick is that I thought that both of the twins had a blue/green hue? Still, I love it! |

I think Suntop's eyes were blue and Ember's were blue-green. Either way, I absolutely love this illo; you've really captured the twins beautifully! The expressions are both believable and amusing...even though Cutter doesn't seem at all amused. It truly does look like a story illustration. Again, I'm not sure, but it seems something is a little off on Suntop's face. Maybe the nose and lips don't quite match up or the chin is slightly off from the rest of the face? Still, I love this illo - great job!
