Haka, an ancestor to the Thunderwater Holt splinter tribe the Wanderers - her main function was actually that of a herbal healer, but this particular tribe is so small that everyone simply had to learn to hunt well for them to survive in their raw climate.

I like the pose, the weaponry, the attitude, and the overall appearance of the character. I think you did a perfect job of portraying that she might not be a hunter, but she can bring it home like the rest of them when needed. She also gives the impression that while she may not be a warrior per se, she can still kick your ass. I take it her knife intentionally lacks a hilt?

Thank you so much! Yes, her knife is actually just a sharpened piece of bone so it doesn't have a hilt :)

Well, at least it is wrapped well enough so that if she needs to use it her hand won't slide as easily down the sharpened edge. I didn't even realize it was bone; I thought it was metal!

She looks beautiful! Her inquisitive gaze, her beautiful curves... she's a real beauty.
Her pose and weapons also look really good ^^.

Amberfox - Nope, bone and rock all the way. This tribe has no trolls in their vicinity and none of the elves are magical, not even a single rockshaper, so they have absolutely no access to metal ;)

Fawn Silverstream - Thank you very much :D

Hey ICEBIRD !   Tag  / Taahl  your it.

Really glad to recognize you Here.  I still don't know what an Art Trade is. . .

I like this picture because it tells a story.  How did you do that w/out a background ?  Excellent.

...is there a game going on?  ???

Art trade is two or more people exchanging pieces of art with each other, kind of like a Secret Santa game... but I'm not sure why you're asking me about that?

As for telling Haka's story without a background, I honestly have no clue. I just started sketching and threw some colours in :)
