Tastes just like chocolate

This one is an old picture (from 2002) I came across when looking for drawings for the challenge, but I actually still quite like this one.
Did a horrible coloringjob on it myself, but noticed I didn't color the original linework. I was wondering if someone here might wanna give it a try?
Traditional, digital, add more leaves in the background, clean up the linework, change the font of the character names; all is okay! Just leave my name in there and give credit when you repost it somewhere.

Oooh! I always hoped that we'd see Pike and Shen-Shen in a romantic situation in the comics (apart from the flower-giving). This is lovely!

I always figured they were, since they shared a den with Skot and Krim during the time of Kings of the Broken Wheel. Anyways, I just love these two together.
 ShenShen was more funloving and silly back then, just like Pike!

I think these two should've been depicted more often together because they're really two of a kind. Can you imagine all they could've gotten into?!
I love how you've drawn Pike here; it's perfect! Shenshen...not so sure. Something seems a little off. It's a good drawing of her, but I can't quite figure out what it is that seems awkward about it. Maybe it's just me... |

Aw, I like the concept of Pike licking on Shenshen like some kind of doofy puppy.
 And yes! I wish there were more about Pike and Shenshen sharing a den with Skot and Krim in KotBW. Ultra cute. <3
