You did a thing? A beautiful thing! It has been soooooo long since we saw your beautiful art! This makes me so happy! What a perfectly blissful setting. The way the fire lights their faces is so wonderful. This almost seems like the continuation of the pinups that Foxeye drew of Teir and Ember.

Ahhh guys it’s been so long! It felt so good to draw! I’m not completely happy with it BUT considering I don’t have photoshop or illustrator and had to find apps and learn how to make them work for it in like a 3 week period I’m pretty pleased! Thank you Maggie for asking me to submit! I’ve been running my own business for the last 5 years, I have a toddler now ( Beatrice ) shes wild and wonderful. I was so happy to be able to wrangle Leigh into doing something for the calendar this year. I love how this came out in spite of her lack of a suitable graphics program. This is a reminder of how good Leigh is even after a long hiatus and working with a tablet and unfamiliar applications.

Wow, even with unfamiliar program and unsuitable graphics you still made this look yours! Even in tumbnail I recognized that it was your art! I Love the softness of your strokes, the wolves in the background and the tenderness in the picture. And the blue shading!
Only critisism I have is that Ember is very whitewashed here. |

That fire is wonderfully bright and the overall feeling is very loving and intimate in a way, like it is just a moment for them and no one else...

Ahhh this is so great. These two are very high up on my favourites list, I'm so happy you drew them! It's so tender and soft, a very sweet moment. I really like that you included the wolfpack, the animals are very much a part of Teir, seeing them watching from the darkness is very fitting.

That's one comfy-cuddly looking scene! The light keeps a nice and warm focus on the couple, wrapping them in, like the furs; but I also like the slightly uncanny contrast with the blurry background and the wolve's cool-coloured eyes. But thus both seem protected from any possibly nasty surrounding. (I know, the wolves a part of the tribe, but still, they make some eerie contrast.)
