Aaaaah I love the way you colour and the dark outline is really lovely! I especially like his beard, I can never figure out how to draw them hahaaa.

Looks like "nicely done, young one". Or he is a bit sceptically smiling at some joke or doing of another one. Nice colouration job. I too think especially the beard got very impressive.

I really adore Treestump, and this smug expression is just, I don't even have words for it! I get the feel of an older elf, smugly, knowing an youngster is about to do something stupid. That or he has been challenged in something he knows he will win.

I have to agree with the others in that this is a fantastic illo of Treestump and it's easy to see why it was chosen for the calendar. I really like the warm skin tone, and his eyes seem so alive. Frankly, I'd be careful and watch my back for a while; he just has that expression to me that suggests I need to do just that. Pranks ahoy!

Pranks ahoy, Indeed ! (wasn't Longbranch a childhood friend?) Wonderful Treestump. The coloring is crisp and readable and I want to run my hands repeatedly through that soft looking beard. Great submission, glad it was chosen CZARINE. May we have some more in the future?
