Oh Maggie, this is so wonderful. It makes me smile and a little sad. But it reminds me that it is important to cherish and live in the moments when the heart is indeed full.
Love the little details, Krim playing with Pike's hair, Pike's hand resting on Skot's shoulder... just wonderful. |

@Treefox - Glad you like it!
 I had a different bond originally but then in searching for reference came upon some Final Quest spoilers, so scrapped that idea in favour of this one (the spoilers...the spoilers). I haven't done any artwork since the 2018 cover so it was a bit of a challenge but I think it came out ok.

I love how soft this looks! And I like how distinct the face shapes are. Otherwise I'm a bit creeped out by their stares - I'm sure they'll prank me next!

Haha...well I wanted it to look like the viewer was part of the bond, like they're looking out at you. Then again they are pranksters, you probably should be a little scared.

I feel so . . . invited. Here, you have captured the truly open pairing of these three, Maggie. Their focused stare unites them in the wonderful welcome they portray. "Yes, come play - just a tassel, or more. You are welcome to share our Bond." They seem to say.
I would dance that way myself on a wild bonfire night; cuddled warm and cozy within their friendship and love. (*Sigh*) Brilliant cover to truly represent all forms of commitment in the elves world! |

Ah, the "classic" threesome-bond! Enframed by dreamberry bushes they all like to share with each other. Good idea.
Life must be good if heart and belly are full.  Krim usually struck me as the most lively of the three and so she seems to be here. But yes, spoilers may create melancholy. |
