Wow, the colors really turned up in this one as opposed to faded in Mehadrin. On the original, the colors are very subtle. Can't win. Anyway, here's my coloring of Czarine's amazing and wonderful illo of my Amberfox. Hope I did your hard work justice, Czarine! Had trouble figuring out some of the background, but I thought that was a cattail, which is a marsh plant, so I thought some of those lines were for some sort of water body.
I just found out my state is will be under mandatory stay-at-home lockdown starting in just over 24 hours. So, if I'm excluded in the "essential services" (I work at a private clinical lab), I'll likely be posting a lot of art over the course of this month.

Ooh, so great to see this in color!
 I love how you handled the background, it seems to have a lot more depth now. I don't even remember what I drew there, but you took it and made it your own.  Wonderful! There's a lockdown here where I live, but since I spend so much time at home (I work remotely) anyway, it doesn't really feel that different. The only thing that has changed is that I see friends online instead of IRL. But it definitely does give more time to art! I should spend some of it on EQ art too, just gotta finish a commission first. |
