Our Holt - 1: Vytha

In the tradition of Mirror and her stunning art, "Our Tribe," I was inspired to do similar. Initially, I was going to group them as Mirror has, but then I got lazy trying to get everyone organized (especially since some do not have heights listed) and complicated because I kept the individual illos large. I also wanted to draw characters that haven't had a lot of time in the spotlight, for the most part. As always, the scanner just doesn't do the colors justice, but at least you can get an idea of what I was going for. I already have about a dozen characters drawn, but I intend to color them all instead of inking them. Takes longer, but I just felt like trying to do it. I hope I've done everyone justice, but if I haven't, let me know and I'll make the corrections. Up first is Nightsea's character Vytha, the AU daughter of Winnowill and Lord Voll. Wish I'd remembered Elftanner had drawn her before as I think she did a better job on the outfit. Ah well, maybe this is her summer, around-the-holt outfit. Lovely lady, and I'm surprised she hasn't been drawn more.

Thank you. I think I used five colors for the gown, and she was the first of the series I sketched.

Oh Amberfox, what a great project. I always liked Vytha's concept and she is just gorgeous in your version. Those colors are indeed intense and what lovely shades! Damn, why haven't I gotten out my self-elf yet!

What a great concept for a character. And she seems so sweet and demur. I really like how the hair looks in the front, it looks so real as it sweeps up off her forehead. (I could sculpt off of it easily)
