Scratch Magic Wolf
by Afke
Last year I challenged myself to draw 365 pictures on Scratch Magic Notes; 8x8 cm cards with a colourful background covered in black paint. Whatever you scratch away with a wooden stick will reveal the colours underneath.
One of the last few I drew had this wolf portrait (for Sketch fest, prompt was black fur).

VERY stunning and compelling! Almost resembles a blacklight image in a good way. I remember manually doing scratch art. One of the first drawings I ever did was of my family's dog in crayon: multiple colors under black and used a toothpick to scratch out the image. Well done!

Really, Berit?? I would thought you might've tried them if you have them. You seem to make art with anything, even if it's not really meant for it.
Yeah, the red seems to get all smudgy. I saved it at a good quality, if you check the full view it has the best look there. Treefox, my other pictures can be seen at my IG: https://www.instagram.com/afke11/ My niece got me addicted when I borrowed a few from her. I've also found some A5 and A4 sized pages, and even (golden and silver) holographic! When I was a kid I used to make my own as well, mostly in school. |
