[Yavia]

As Mehadrin jumps in fear at Antaka she is surprised. She could not believe he freaked out this fierce. He hugs her and his ominose scent is once again near her. Feared herself by the smell she brusts out in panic and pushes Mehadrin away from her. She don't care how he would fall she just want him to be gone. That smell was ... nice... she don't want that! She fears to be ensnared. poisend, enchanted, robbed of her free will. By his strange kind of magic.

(But she diced a 1 - oh, man, so she's stuck with him  )

[Berit]

Marut looks at her...

"Because this if where I happened to stop..."

He has no greater explanation...

"I will move on when the feeling strikes me..."

He apparently stops and moves depending on his mood... Marut looks at her...

"And I kind of want to know what the screaming thing is, maybe something new I can hunt down?... You do not seem to want to be here... where do you want to go?..."

Antaka tries to get Mehadrin off her but somehow can't seem to do it! maybe she is under his spell already!?! Mehadrin looks horrified of what happened, he has not seen magic before and it really scared him!...

"Warrior! Keep me safe!!..."

he begs of her, Toad looks at Mehadrin and shakes his head, he rolls the heatstones into a wet pelt and starts to carry them outside.. thanking Wander of his help... Wander just stares puzzled at Antaka and Mehadrin...

[Czarine]

Laluna gently strokes the goat's woolly fur. She thinks they could use it to make warmer bedding, but she doesn't want to take the cute, trusting little thing's life. She's surprised to find a rope on its neck. It really must've belonged to the humans, as it has the weird smell on it, too.

"Let's take you inside, it's a bit warmer there." she talks to the goat and gently guides it by the leash inside the tower. It probably doesn't need that much warmth, but the tower should provide security from other predators. Laluna smiles when she thinks that Stormsong might have to adjust to their new friend for a while...

When they get inside, Laluna tries to remove the rope from the goat's neck. She doesn't want it to feel like a prisoner anymore.

[Berit]

the Goat kindly follows her inside, taking the rope off is easy and she gains a piece of good sturdy rope! a little big for elven hands but it can be used for something... the Goat baas gently and rubs it's head on Laluna's clothes, then Laluna notices it has udders and they are full of milk! it is a girl goat! her udders look like they are so filled it milk that is's pretty uncomfortable for her... the goat was so small she thought it was a young goat but clearly it is an adult... suddenly the door moves and another elf with pure white skin marches in! his pinkish eyes immediately turn towards her and then scan the surroundings... without saying a word he threads downstairs when he spots the trapdoor...

[Czarine]

Laluna examines the rope and wonders if it could be taken apart to make a few thinner ropes. She carefully puts it aside.

She gently removes some clumps of snow from the goat's fur, when she notices her full udders.

"Oh, you're a girl! Have you lost your little ones..?" she asks it. Laluna didn't see any kids outside, only this goat... She needs to help the goat and milk her, but she doesn't know where to put the milk.

As she's just getting up to go downstairs to look for a vessel, she is startled when an unknown elf steps in through the door! She stares at him, frozen when he seems so serious. When she sees him head downstairs, she gets worried.

"H-Hey? Wait!" she heads after him.

[Yavia]

(slippery Mehadrin can't get shoved away  )

"Get off me! Please leave me alone!" Antaka screamed panicing. She don't want to be a Lovemate to someone she dislikes so far just because of his poisoners scent. Her head just spins and she forced herself with great effort to think. She don't get what just happend, why Mehadrin just freaked out or what anyone in the cave is doing or saying. She need to get rid of him. But how? "I can't protect you if you clutch me so tight! Leave me! Go away!"
Her pondering heart rushes in her ears. She starts to tremble in fear and a disgusting though with a tempting voice creeps in her mind. 'Just stab him, stab him to get free.'
"Noooooo!", she screams and pull all the effort in pushing him away.

(This time I diced a 6. Maybe the dice sensed her panic. If she manage to push him away- or they just part - she will get away from him as far as possible. Near Wander for a kind of solidarity. She will rise her spear to threaten Mehadrin not to come near again. Without intention to really use it)

Edit: maybe she have to use it in another situation. Yare comes in... dun-dun-duuuuunn

[Berit]

the elf says nothing and continues downward until he reaches the floor with, Toad, Antaka, Mehadrin and Wander... Meanwhile Antaka manages to finally free herself of the tumor called Mehadrin! he drops to the floor on his butt again! and gasps for air, looks so HURT while looking at Antaka, his lower lip stands out again in a pouting manner! Suddenly an all white elf appears from the stairs! Wander notices him and slowly stands up...

"... Yare?... Yare! you are alive! Oh I'm so glad to see you!..."

Wander opens his arms as they both head towards one another, but Yare does not accept his hug, he pierces Wander with his sharp cane!... then pulls the stick out, blood starts pouring between Wander's legs on to the floor... Wander asks quietly...

"... why?..."

Toad immediately attacks Yare to get the weapon away from him! Yare doesn't resist and lets the cane get knocked off his hand... Wander slowly collapses to the floor... Mehadrin screams again and backs to to a wall!...

[Czarine]

Laluna hurries downstairs, only to see the unknown elf stab Wander! She's shaken by the sight and takes support from the nearby wall. Why would anyone hurt a fellow elf?? Mehadrin's screaming doesn't help the agitation at all.

When Toad disarms the assailant, Laluna gets a hold of herself and rushes to Wander's side. She removes his clothing as fast as she can to get to the wound. She needs to heal him fast, and even then, she's not sure that the sick elf can survive this...

[Yavia]

Antaka watches in shock she had not seen this coming. As Toad disarming the stranger successful and also very fast she haste to Wander. She pulls out her Hood and presses it onto the wound, makes way as Laluna appears, holding Wander to comfort him on the stone floor. Ready to hold him if he moves to much and have a look if he keeps breathing.

[Berit]

Toad forces Yare to the ground and sits at his back and keeps a holf of his arms, Yare does not resist at all...

Wander breathes very lightly and look at them, it is clear that he does not know why his tribemate attacked him... HE looks slowly at them working so Hard to save his life... Wander gently smiles at them... He whispers...

"... It is okay... It is okay... I was... Dying already..."

He gently tries to comfort them... Laluna notices that by some strange luck, the cane had missed all the wital organs, but he is still bleeding bad...

[Czarine]

Laluna is too focused on finding out the extent of Wander's injuries to pay much attention to his words. She's relieved to find that the cane has missed the vital parts because her healer's skills aren't fully developed yet. But she knows she can try to stop his bleeding.

She breathes out, focusing on the healing and lays her hands on his wounds, starting to mend the broken veins with magic.

(Laluna's roll: 1! Nnnnoooo!!!)

[Yavia]

"No, no Wander, you are going to see your homeforsst again. Even if I had to carry you. You do not die on us! It is not time to go now."
Antaka holds him tight, looks at Toad and his secured prisoner.
"Why did he do that? Who is he? Ask him!" She bids Toad and looks to Laluna. She don't want to distract her but she is eager to ask, if she can help her somhow. So she holds Wander. "It will be allright, stay with me"

Edit; Laluna, nooooooo.

[Berit]

Laluna tries to focus but she cannot do so, all the blood on the floor the though of his life slipping away! it all is stopping her from focusing! suddenly Wander gently touches her arm... looks at her in the eyes...

"thank you... .... for trying...."

a little gasp escapes his pale lips and he falls unconscious... Antaka feels him getting limb in her grasp, he stops responding to them... both Antaka's and Laluna's hands are covered in his blood... Yare looks at Wander slipping but feels no remorse at all...

(I threw three times, none of them one so he is still alive but worsening by the second!)

[Czarine]

Laluna turns pale when she realizes that she's losing Wander. Her hands seem to just slip with all the blood everywhere... She's about to panic when Wander's touch grabs her attention. She looks into his eyes and feels that his life is literally in her hands now. She finds the determination to try again. She doesn't want to lose him!

(Laluna's roll: 5! Maybe there's hope!!)

[Yavia]

Antaka feels Wander goes limb and eyes him closer. As she sees Laluna shortly stop in her attempt she says coforting "Don't give up, he's still breathing, you can make it" she uses the break to wipe some blood from him to give Laluna a short blood free spot to see something. The hood was covert in blood now.
She bows down to control his breathing and in her helplesness she talks to him with silent words. "Listen to my words, Wander let them guide you. Stay with us. I will tell you the tale of Odmar the halfmanfish. Grab on the words, don't get lost. You can't go till the story is over" Eyeing him and Laluna she starts to tell the tale in a silent tone.

[Berit]

They both work hard to keep him alive, And finally they get him more stable, but he has lost a lot of blood... he looks even more frail than usual, laying in the floor, hiss hair is a tangled mess of his own blood and his clothes are soaked in it as well... Laluna finally manages to close the wound for good, but his body quickly gets colder as there is not enough blood to give him warmth... Yare notices that they somehow managed to save Wander and flips out! Toad keeping him restrained on the floor...

"Y-YOU!! what have you done!?! he should DIE! He MUST die for all the things he has done! he is monster, not an elf!! let go of me! LET GO!!"

Toad doesn't let him up, just looks at him with a very judging look...

[Czarine]

Laluna hears Antaka's encouraging words and finds the will to keep healing. She closes her eyes when she strains to work her magic faster. She gasps for air when she finally manages to close the wound, able to breathe more freely. She notices that his body gets colder.

"W-We need to carry her closer to the heatstone... He needs to stay warm." she says, rising on her wobbly feet. The healing has taken her strength away, but she seems calmer now that Wander is somehow stable.

"Thank you..." she says to Antaka, touching weakly her shoulder. Laluna's not sure she could've kept going without her words.

When the unknown elf starts yelling at them, Laluna turns her eyes toward him.

"...Why..?" she repeats Wander's words to him.

[Yavia]

Antaka touches Lalunas Shoulder in return, then jumps up, fetches two of the furs and trows them in Lalunas grab. "Take a breath, cover him, I can' carry him alone." Furious Antaka grabs her spear and rushes to Toad with his prisoner. She turns her spear upside down and hits Yare in her momentum with the wood against the top of his ear.
"You bastard! You don't have the right to demand anything! Why did you do that?! Who are you? Answer!"

(Dice 4 to be threatening)

[Berit]

(Yare rolled 4 also! so he isn't scared but willing to talk...)

Yare's pinkish eyes turn to Antaka...

"I am Yare... once I was his right hand... Trust me! He will betray you the same way he betrayed his own tribe... that's why!... the dead... my tribemates... they want revenge!..."

Yare's eyes turn towards Wander with burning hatred...

"He was our chief... our leader... he brought us to this frozen wasteland... seeking for some treasure... he didn't find it... and when his place as a chief was threatened... he sent us all to a suicide mission! he KNEW there was something deadly in the mountain! our scouts did not return!... still he sent us there... while he holed up here like a coward..."

wrinkles rise to the side of Yare's nose in disgust when he thinks about it all... then Yare's expression turns to angry but saddened...

"I bet he has already fed you lies... to cover up for himself... ... please... do not let him live... not after what he has done... please..."

Yare slowly lowers his head, his white hair hanging over his face...

"I do not care what you do to me.... just... don't let him live..."

[Yavia]

Thunderstruck Antaka stood still. The heart of the mountain, Wander send them there?
She hasn't trusted all he told them, but if she thinks back she can't hardly remember all. He wanted to open a hole to look for trolls. There are no Trolls beneath them, but they could have been. He told his tribe was killed and he found their parts. He told a scout came back, told him of this cave. His tribe leaved him here to die. He had made his throne down here and he has the voice of a chief as he shouted at Mehadrin. The dreams they had... Do they come from him? To lure them up there. It seems they are a better use to keep them away from there. He can't planed to send them there, he said to stay away from it.
"I can't cramp that all together", she whispered and walks up and down to get her head clear. Anger still pulsing through her veins.

"Are you the only one, who survived? How?" she asks. "What is in the cave? A monster? The monster that lay dead outside and rot?"

[Berit]

"I hope.... someone else survived... but I... I... could not sense them when sending... none of them... not even unconscious ones... none... emptiness... death..."

Yare says and slowly lifts his tormented sad eyes to Antaka's gaze..

"It... it happened so fast... I... I was with them... We never reached the cave... it suddenly got dark... even if it wasn't night... light just... left the place... then a horrible blizzard... one... one of us... slipped and fell down the mountain... he was dead when he hit the ground... the sound... sound of his bones cracking... was clear..."

Yare takes a long pause, haunted by the sound of someone he knew dying in such a way, he tries to push it back, he doesn't want to remember it all over again...

"We... thought it was too dangerous... but then... something came... a creature with the head of an elk! it... it struck others down so fast! death followed its every blow! we could not escape!... so... so much blood... so... so much..."

Yare suddenly seems even paler than before, and suddenly vomits just from the memory of it all!.. he shivers... his breathing is fast and tears start running down, a look of total despair is clearly on his face... he tries to calm himself but has hard time continuing his story...

[Jeb]

Moondrop stares at Marut as if he has two heads.

"You want to know what the screaming thing is?" She shakes her head as if to knock out the madness she's hearing. "Then you are a rabbit running into the wolf's jaws instead of away."

"Ever since I've found myself here, all I've heard are warnings of danger. It'd be foolish not to listen."

"Just because I ended up here doesn't mean I have to stay. I have nothing keeping here, and enough mind of my own skin to move on someplace safe."

[Berit]

Marut nods, he is not stopping her... he tells her...

"But sometimes safe is not the place to be... not if it means leaving others to danger... and I have a feeling there are others needing help..."

Marut looks at the carcass on the ground... it is nearly all skinned and the meat stripped from the bones...

"Where ever you plan to travel, I wish you well... I... would have wanted to get to know you... but I will not stop you from leaving... our ways are our own, after all..."

[Czarine]

Laluna barely catches the bundle of furs when she's so startled by Antaka's outburst at the stranger. She understands her anger and wants to hear an explanation from the stranger herself as well... but when Yare speaks, Laluna is dumbfounded as well. Could this really be Wander he is talking about? It seems as if he's talking of two different persons because Laluna can't imagine Wander putting anyone in harm's way... Yet the other elf has clearly gone through a lot of pain...

Laluna can't make anything of the situation. She carefully wraps the furs around Wander's unconscious body and watches his face in silence. Who are they to believe?

She decides that they can't know for sure when Wander cannot defend himself from the accusations. Laluna rises back on her feet and fetches the last bit of broth, taking it to Yare.

"It's cold... but it should make you feel better." she says with a weakened voice, handing the bowl to him. Laluna can see that he hasn't been eating properly... and she can't bring herself to blame Yare before they know more about the situation.

[Yavia]

Monster with elk head? The elk head that fallen down next to her and Moondrop on their bird hunt? So it is dead. Or the dead monster outside? She wasn't sure what an elk exactly look like. She asks Toad in sending.
"Can he mean the monster we killed? What do an elk look like?"

She took a step back as he vomits on the floor. "Or dear" she mourn. She can no longer be mad enough to kill him. He does look underfeat and pale like a ghost. And his story is shockingly horrible.
She looks at his from her hit very red ear and moans, gives Laluna space to reach him.
She does stay alarmed to protect her. And Toad still holds him secure. So, if anything happen she will interfere.

(I absolutely adore Lalunas character. She is a real person I would like a lot. Diced a 5 to protect her from harm - I don't think Yare would do harm to her, but who knows? She healed Wander...)
