I would love to do this but the first Holt I was in closed in the 80s and my artwork from then has been lost in multiple moves over the years. I will try to scare up something somehow eventually. maybe from Loneoak which was the second Holt I belonged to. Let me see if I can find anything...

I was so happy my friend Sharon helped me find this site. I have really been enjoying looking at other people's work since I got here. I never posted to this thread before, but I want to let you know I appreciate this site. I have been a fan since the mid 80s and I even ran a Holt prior to the one I run now. It is a beautiful thing when EQ fans come together. I hope everyone else is enjoying this place as much as I am. I was hoping to see more people I recognized, I don't know where so many of them are anymore and that is a shame. However since everyone here uses an alias I don't know who anyone is save Amberfox. So if you know me hit me up. My name is Robin McCulley. I miss some of my old friends in the fandom, but have lost track of so many of them over the years. I LOVE EQ.

I had a Holt I ran in the 80s that there was a conflict with another holt by the same name. I wanted to call it Twin Peaks, perhaps you don't have to worry about the name because my holt as well as the other Twin Peaks have since been closed or changed names, but just thought I would give you a heads up with the name. I ended up calling mine Longdrop Twin Peaks Holt, and Mercy renamed hers as well so maybe there is no longer a conflict with the Twin Peaks. I would like to learn more of your Holt. Do you play offline?

Holts / Three Holts Alliance

How do we get listed as a Holt on your list? We are fairly new and not well known yet. We have three Holts who communicate with each other and a caravan that travels between them.

Stone Tower Holt is in a desert setting. The take advantage of the natural structures the wind has shaped as well as using some stone shaping for the building of their Holt. These elves have many Warriors to fight the humans of the Northern desert as well as a smaller group to the south of them. This Holt is lead by their eldest living member, Grandfather Itzamna.

Lilac Valley Holt is a group who in recent years moved from Longdrop Twin Peaks Holt when it was destroyed by a volcano. They settled in a beautiful spot at the edge of the great plains, just inside the forrest. These are the only mixed-blood Holt we have and you can find both cat and wolf blooded elves here as well as purebloods. All of these survivors are younger than 1000 years of age, including their young Chieftess Sorrell. She inherited her leadership from her mother's side of the family.

Greenwater Holt is in an inland sea. The Holt is small and close-knit. They have led a fairly sheltered life until contacted by the Caravan a few years ago. Although they have played tricks on the humans at the southern end of the sea, there was no real war with those humans. The humans let the elves live however they wanted to, and the elves avoided the humans for the most part. Tailsplash was elected the leader of this group abour four hundresd years ago, but since his Holt was peaceful, there was little in the was of leading that needed to be done. Although these elves are pure-bloods some of them do bond with manatee who live in the waters as well.

My name is Robin McCulley. I am the organizer of the Holts. my email is grandfatheritzamna@yahoo.com. We have a yahoo site with many beautiful pieces of art and our newsletters posted. My snail mail addy is P.O. Box 83, Freedom, OK 73842.

Holts / Three Holts Alliance

Three Holts that are very different from each other struggle together to survive.

Stone Towers Holt is a desert Holt, much like The American Southwest. However they are all pure-bloods, most are gliders, and they live by a Caste system. Only recently were they contacted by the survivors of LTPH for help. They helped the sick and wounded survivors to health and then to find a new home. They have an excellently trained Warrior Caste to protect them from humans and trolls alike. This is a pure-blooded tribe.

Lilac Valley Holt is the survivors of LTPH after they found their new home. They are agriculturally based. There are mixed and pure bloods here. They live in the area between forrest and Great Plains, in rolling hills. Some of the Stone Tower elves have come to live among them.

Greenwater Holt is within a salt-water, inland sea. Our pure-blooded elves bond with manatee. The water here is at a semi-warm state all the time due to the sea being in the crest of an ancient volcano which still has warm magma flowing below the sea floor. Some of these elfes can shape themselves into mer-form, others have been shaped by fleshshapers so that they live mostly within the water of the sea. They are loosely organized and free of cares for the most part.

I joined the EQ world when I was about 10. My best friend Christy told me of it. I have been a fan for all these years. My first elf had a Tolkien name. I now run Three Holts Alliance. We were once Londrop Twin Peaks Holt, but that fell to the side when I was raising my four kids alone. All the kids have left home now, I am running a Holt again, with some wonderful people I have met through the fandom. Over the years I have come to see other fans as extended family. EQ has been the main constantly enjoyable activity in life, and I am thankful to Wendy, Richard and Christy for helping me find it. I was told of this site by another dear friend and fellow EQer and I am glad to be here. I hope to make yet more friends here and see their beautiful work.
