(OK, I think I'm ready to get back into this, but so much has happened! And, yeah, so many Storm-whatevers, it's getting a little hard for me to keep it all straight in my head. Ah, well. Into the breach!)
Moondrop was already feeling uncomfortable being around Wander, and when the huge beast appears, her well-ingrained instinct for self-preservation takes over. She runs as fast as she can away from the noise of the others and a sickening scent that rises in the air. She runs until her heart pounds and her breath runs ragged, until she realizes that she can no longer hear the fight. She slows and starts to feel ashamed that she left the others to their fate so quickly. She stops to catch her breath and look around at where she is, wondering if she should go back.
(Dice roll of 4, not sure what for? Whether she can find her way back?)

(Just came to say sorry that I haven't been around for a while. I'm kind of a private person and don't want to get into details, but I have been dealing with a major, life-changing event that I am still adjusting to and find, that right now at least, this just isn't where my head is.
I've enjoyed being part of this, and maybe will be again, so I don't want to kill off Moondrop. I guess she got freaked out by the bunny battle and ran off?)

Moondrop watches Marut walk away, feeling slightly betrayed that the new feeling of belonging he had inspired in her doesn't seem the be shared. But, as he seems set on caring for Wander, who she is no longer comfortable being around, perhaps it is all for the best. Dealing with all these other elves was giving her a headache, anyway. It would be good to get away.

**No.** Moondrop answers Stormvex as she watches Wander walk away, her distrust obvious. She had hoped that her attempt to bind and blindfold him would have been successful and is annoyed to see him walking around, free. He may seem weak, but she won't be fooled by him again.
She tries to brush him from her thoughts and be encouraged that at least now Stormvex and Laluna are out of the tower. The whole experience has been as frustrating as watching a hare at the trap, hopping this way and that, never quite setting a foot to the snare. Maybe now they can move along.
"Now, can we go?" She asks impatiently. "Wait, where's Marut?"

Why does Mehadrin call her honey? Moondrop shrugs. "That one makes no sense to me." She thinks of Sir Toad and his weird talk. "Everyone I meet here gives me a different name."
Moondrop is glad that both Woodfox and Runedance want to go to the caves. She's anxious to go, too. Especially to get away from the tower and Wander. But then she remembers Marut. It annoys her to wait, but it doesn't feel right to go without him. She sends to him, **The two out here want to return to the door. Are you coming?**
Just then she catches sight of Wander coming out. She flees toward the nearest tree.
(Dice roll 6 for her attempt to get away from Wander. The dice fates smile on us today.

Her hand closing around the cube in her pocket, Moondrop feels the excitement again to figure out what is hidden behind the door.

"It doesn't seem right to leave now." Moondrop replies to Woodfox. "Not until we figure out what to do with Wander. We can't just leave Laluna with a madman. Or Mehadrin." She adds, wondering again about the relationship between the two brothers.
But what will be the solution? Will they all go? Will they leave Wander here, on his own?
The only answer would be to go back in and ask the others what they want to do, but Moondrop just doesn't feel up to it at the moment. And there are these new elves to consider.

Moondrop tries to stifle her laugh at seeing Woodfox dumped to the ground. He did not seem to having a good time. "Are you alright?" She calls to him.
She stares thoughtfully at the tower where the others are, considering Runedance's offer. She would be the first to admit to being scared at the show of Wander's power when used as a weapon and not sure how they could control him if he really wanted to hurt them, especially if Laluna and Stormvex are successful at healing him and he gains strength from it.
But since meeting Marut and having memories return, she's also been curious what it would be like to have a group to belong to, and she can't walk away until she knows if it's what she wants. And if this group turns out to be her new tribe, Wander would be a valuable member, both as a weapon and a help.

"It's over for me." Moondrop responds to Runedance. "I'm not going to sit in there waiting for Wander to flip again and bring the walls down on us while they yap, yap, yap."
She pulls her cloak around her in the cooler outside air and her hand brushes against the cube she took off Wander earlier. She thinks about going back to the door, but hesitates at the idea of leaving Marut behind. Moondrop shakes off Mehadrin, but she doesn't disagree with him.
"Don't touch her." She growls at Wander, still agitated by his violent attack earlier. "You did this to her!"
"But you probably don't remember that." She glares at him suspiciously. "Or do you?"
Moondrop looks around at the stone walls of the tower, suddenly feeling claustrophobic as she thinks of Wander's power. "If he can't control himself, then we need to find some way to control him. But I am not staying in this deathtrap with him."
Moondrop heads outside while the others decide what to do.

The hunt with Antaka and seeing the flung Elk carcass. The crevice in the floor and the fight with Wander. Finally, Toad's arrival and slaying the monstrous beast.
She stops before getting to her journey that lead to meeting Marut and Woodfox, not sure if she's ready to share the new door mystery with anyone else yet.

Moondrop had been lost in thought, contemplating Woodfox and Mehadrin's relationship. Woodfox had been anxious to find his brother, but aside from a quick, cold greeting from Mehadrin, the two hadn't interacted at all.
As Stormvex's sending pulled her out of her musings, she gave a mental shrug. Probably just how they were.

Moondrop feels a strange sense of pride when she sees how easily Marut lifts Wander. "Well, that was easily managed." She laughs to herself. She had been trying to figure out whether they would need to fashion a litter or get him up on Stormsong maybe, this is much better.

**Mine.** She sends back. It's not really a lie. She's the one who found it. They don't know who it belongs to, and although she didn't care what happened to it when it was just a thing, she doesn't want to give it up now that it has a purpose.

"Wander's out here. Why wouldn't the tower be safe? Did something else happen?"
Now that the animals have moved off, she approaches Wander again, searching through his clothing. "We should probably get him inside, too. Assuming we don't want him to freeze to death."
Although it wasn't really a question, she glances at Laluna as if for confirmation that they do want to keep him alive.
(Moondrop rolls a six for searching for the little cube in Wander's clothes.)

Moondrop pauses at the warning growls of the new beasts, desperate to get to Wander but scared of being attacked. One of the elves appears to be their master, as at his direction they allow her to get closer. She nods at him in thanks, and quickly covers Wander's eyes and ties his wrists as Laluna examines him.
Once Wander is bound, Moondrop shies back away from the large animals.

"I don't know." Moondrop answers Mehadrin. Her eyes are fixed on the spike coming up from the ground. There was no doubt of Wander's power anymore, but at least his stamina was still low.
She looks at the newcomers, wanting to find out more about them, but needs to deal with Wander first. Is he really out? Or could he be luring them closer?

Moondrop sways from the sudden weight of Mehadrin on her. She struggles ineffectually, trying to reach her weapons or land some kind of blow that will dislodge the unwelcome embrace. "Get off of me!"
She had been wondering what to do about Wander. She listens to Laluna's plea, but knows that if she couldn't make him see reason before, it was too late now. So that left some more physical option. Running or fighting hadn't seemed possible against someone who could turn the very stones from the ground to shards to hurl at them. Wander hadn't had much energy before, it was possible that he would tire soon, but this wasn't the Wander from before.
She's shocked still for a moment when more elves and beasts emerge from the forest, but as one challenges Wander, she sends to the rest "Quick, while this fool's got him distracted, knock him out!"

Moondrop watches the reunion of the two brothers with interest, her heart going out to Foxwood at his hurt look. After what he's said, she knows he's been anxious to find his brother again, although having dealt with Mehadrin, she's not sure why.
She wonders why Mehadrin is so angry until Marut's question brings her attention back to the tower and Wander standing outside. Her gaze drops down to the sword in his hand. It's strange to see, but makes Yare's story not so unbelievable now.
"Did he make that sword?" Moondrop wonders aloud. He had seemed so defenseless when she had challenged him, but now she recalled how easily he had pulled the heat stones through the floor and fashioned the little boxes.
She sends the memory of the floating stones to the others. "If he can make blades out of rocks, maybe he can fling them like arrows."

Moondrop's eyes widen in disbelief. It's almost like she can still feel the creature's breath, see the snarling fangs in front of her face. "That was no boar."
She looks around at their little group, trying to decide what to believe. Could things have changed so much in the short time she's been gone?

Moondrop stares in confusion at the running elves and Stormsong's reaction to the goat. "What is going on?!"
As Laluna and the red-haired elf get closer, memories flash in Moondrop's mind of meeting Mehadrin before and his utterly asinine behavior. Based on his clothing, he hasn't gained any more common sense since they last met. "You?!"

Moondrop is a little unsettled to think that Marut has memories of a time that she can't remember. She wants to find out more of what he remembers but is interuppted by Woodfox.
"I think everyone will be happy to meet you. Wander was so welcoming to share his home, and we've all gotten along well." Her brow wrinkles as she thinks of the friction between Antaka and Toad, as well as her own argument with Wander. "Well, mostly."
