That's pretty cool. I like the fur trim around her shoulders. Is this one being painted? You've really done a lot of costume designs for this character. It's so nice to see. I think some of the characters rattle around in the same outfits far too long and need some diversity. After all, they are a crafting society.

I think the oranges and blues together really set the whole page off. Really nice contrast. It is a fine illustration that looks like it should have it's place in a book. I especially like the palace depiciton.
I think this year's calendar theme has been very interesting to look at. So many different stories...

I like the border too and how Voll's garmet makes up part of it. What a warm scene for such a sad story. The coloring and the lighting are delightful. I would love to see more of your work.

A little snipet of the village--nice. Dreamberries. Can't say I'd argue Pike's point. Nice job.
In House Proud by Firestorm - Posted Jan 02, 2013
This is like an epic illustration for an epic fairy-tale. So richly illustrated that I'm sad it's the only page...(do I sound greedy?)
So much to like about this. The coloring, compostion, storytelling, art sytle and my favorite part....Nightfall's feet sticking out from the den-door....

That's the thing about wolf-pups. They don't get to play as much when they grow up. (Unlike domestic dogs..). You all put alot of work into this with six panels. I like how you chose the night setting to be in tradition with the wolfrider life style too. Great job!

What attention to detail. I love the work you put into the setting, it really makes it. Touch of humor is good too. I like how Nightfall's wolf looks so aloof and regal and he's about to get *glomped*.
In I Will Present You With Stars by EkaGO - Posted Jan 02, 2013
What a great idea! A little look in at the trolls. It's positively sweet...especially for trolls. Great story, composition and coloring. So well done!

So much for peace and quiet for Skywise or anyone else for that matter. Just a peek into the Wolfrider's life. Nicely done and portrayed. Still...I can't help but feel a little sorry for Skywise....

Boy--that dude has a serious glare. I'm thinking one page isn't enough for this one. The cool colors really add to the chill but his red hair adds to the fire of this scene. Very nice.

I agree, the coloring is very warm and restful. It's so inviting. I like the inside of their tree-home. It looks positively comfy. I think I'd be the one sleeping in.

This makes me want our own 'funny' comic pages of EQ. It's too hilarious!!! Been there....er...done that. What a brilliant illustration with a super funny twist.
In Still Kin by Carmaleetah - Posted Jan 02, 2013
I had to look at that first panel a couple of times. That's a really cool idea. I like how this page ties Skywise to both the sky and to his pack. Good job on the night scene as well.
In The Howl for Snapper by Holly Hutchison - Posted Jan 02, 2013
I love your coloring style. It's so pleasing to the eyes and I also love the way you do wolves in particular. Our 'wolf' is getting old and had a scary siezure or something night before last, so this page is especially touching for me.
Great story-telling and is a prime example of how you don't need words to tell an awesome story.
In The Wolf and the Hunter by Kvitulven - Posted Jan 02, 2013
This is like a cover or poster. It is set with such grand movement. I think it would make a great animated scene too. The darkness really adds to the mood as well. Great story telling.
In Transformation by Wildfire - Posted Jan 02, 2013
Nice setting. There's a whole novel left untold between Winnowill and Lord Voll, I imagine....
I like the subdued coloring you chose. It really sets the mood.
In True Love by Evonne Little - Posted Jan 02, 2013
This one's really cute. I like that you eluded to Leetah and Skywise being the objects of the title and then fell into canon truthfullness. Very clever. The hearts for eyes is the real killer. Thanks for sharing, True Love is a lot of fun.
In Some Wounds Never Heal by Evonne Little - Posted Jan 02, 2013
*heh-heh* I had to laugh at Suntop's little skinny arm in the first panel, great attention to detail. I like that you captured a moment of Cutter's and his family's life that they must deal with emotionally. It really adds depth to the page and is nice story telling. I really liked the coloring on this too.
In A Moment of Jealousy by Maggie Atkinson - Posted Jan 02, 2013
Not everyone looks good with purple lips--but Moonshade is the most perfect choice for those perfect lips. All the gals in this illo is stunning and I love your choice of lively colors! This piece is just yummy!
In Snowball Fight by Shuji - Posted Jan 02, 2013
This is a fun setting. I really like the subdued winter colors you chose for it and the coat designs. It's very playful and represents the best thing about winter--snowball fights--wooooo-hoooo!
