She's Crescent, all grown up! This piece was done as an illo for an AU fanfic over on the Scroll of Colours, 'Elfwest', in which Crescent was still alive and in a three mating with Nightfall and Redlance.

Well, I say draw what you want to. If you shudder at the thought of drawing Surge again, then don't - why do you have to justify it? (And I agree -he is a PITA to draw!)
But Treefox is right - Surge looks kind of cuddly here!

Well the thing is, Rayek largely reacted so badly to the wolfriders because Cutter a) kicked him in the face and b) had the audacity to recognise Leetah...in this AU that didn't happen. He might not have been too happy about their arrival in Sorrow's End, but he wouldn't have the depth of hostility he felt in canon.
