Ahhh thank you, all for the kind words! <3 It's always a joy to participate, this year I very nearly didn't manage to complete it due to overcommitting on 284729382 things haha. So I'm delighted that I still had the opportunity.

The red glowy lines I made with a program called Flamepainter! It's for painting particle effects (fire, snow, glitter, etc) and I got it just as I was beginning to wrap this painting up, so I played around with it for the background

The swords - ahh I'm glad y'all like them, I tried like 3 different versions of them and almost scrapped them haha!

Ohhhh goodness Maggie, Kaslen looks so pretty here - the pale eyecolour is such a cool choice! And the whole colourscheme with the pale greens and reds - stunning. Beautifully made!

Ahhhh adorable! I love the sneaky pose, Rayek must still be in his young rascal phase The border you created with the plants is really good, I love framing illustrations like that. As others have mentioned, the detail in the background is also fabulous!
And! Babies/children are so hard to draw, their proportions are so different! You did very well.

Oh wow this is striking! The muted blues and greys vs the stark colours on Winnowill works wonderfully! And I love how you did the Egg, it looks so neat and ethereal!

Ohhh! I have little memory of who Acorn is but he's gorgeous here! What a neat idea to have both scenes in this fashion, well done.
I also really love the leaves in the background! Wonderfully detailed.

Aw, adorable! Braiding flowers can be difficult indeed, I love that he's helping his mother with it though, that's so cuteeeee. Also the way he's sitting between her legs! So sweet, beautiful scene

Ohhhhhh Treefox this is beautiful! The sparkles on Savah's dress are SO PRETTY and the sense of motion it creates - lovely. These two characters always make me happy and this is a fantastic depiction of them!
Who's the elf in the background? The hairrrr and the little peek of thigh/butt is great <3

Oh I love the colours here! The muted colours work wonderfully. What a great choice of scene, this sparks so many questions about what's occurring. I kinda love the idea of Skimback gifting Brill her headpiece but her keeping it after he leaves her becomes tinged with a bittersweet feeling wah. Great job!

Whoa, the background with the painterly trees almost fading from view is gorgeous! Love the blue touches. And the scene itself is also wonderful, he'd spend a good deal of time fletching I'm sure! And he's got his wolffriend with him, that's so sweet

Yoooo this is cool! The pink smoke grabbed my attention immediately, but looking closer I'm really fascinated by her fingers - gnarly and detailed, really cool. This is such a great scene!

This is so warmmmmmm I dig it! The way you did the sky is super cool, it's a bit reminiscent of the Egg/Scrolls in the Palace! Wonderful drawing

Re: the filk issue - there was something about WaRP not being able to reproduce the Wolfrider's Reflections CD due to some copyright conflict iirc?

This illustration is so lovely! The highlights in her hair are so pretty and I love the winter-y setting!

Haha "Our Flag" - season 1 is great, very cute and funny and endearing. Season 2 is..... I'd stop watching after season 1 xD  But yeah it's hard to get outside of the US! HBO Nordic had it on for a while.

Moonshade - agreed, it could've benefited from more attention/depth. But I feel like a lot of the new EQ stuff has to cover so much ground that focusing on the side characters isn't prioritised

@Treefox - I'm still around yeah! I mostly hang out in Discord nowadays, and post my art on Pixelfed and Cara. I don't draw as much as I'd like though, and I rarely draw elves these days. Pirates (Our Flag Means Death) got my brain haha xD And no, it doesn't scream House at all Thank you again!

@Amberfox - her becoming a Palacedweller *was* sudden. I like your interpretation that this is the in-between stage - I'd have liked to see more of that in the comics. And the colours - that's definitely a strength of digital art, that I can change them on a whim and try things out without risking ruining the entire painting! And I love funky colours, I'm happy that it works! House is a medical drama lol, it's quite far removed from a forest-setting. And I'll try to return more often, I enjoy this space <3
