In She Noticed with a Smile by jaRf - Posted Feb 07, 2025
Ahhh I love the composition - the "frame" that is really just a natural part of the picture, and the bright colors that all work together but still make sure that your eyes goes where it is supposed to.

The texture of the rocks and fire, behind the smooth crisp definition of the helmet, are fantastic. And you nailed his face/expression. (You've come so far since I last popped my head in here! )
In A Light in Bitter Dark by Maggie Atkinson - Posted Feb 07, 2025
Yeah ... the glow and the defined inks in just the right place and the smooth colors. Those folds of fabric ... *chefs kiss* So glad you are still drawing :)

Wonderful subject matter, and beautifully rendered, Maggie. (I am captivated by her nose, of all things...that's a fantastic nose.)

Love seeing these characters brought to life. I have a soft spot for Rellah (but then, I have a soft spot for Cersei of GoT...)

*giggle* @ "building his first wolf-friend"

He's adorable, and that snow with the sparkles is fantastic

In If Dreams Could Come True by Larialoyla - Posted Jan 16, 2014
Quote from: Larialoyla
I picked him from the Original Quest, issue 17. He's the guy playing the drums when the elves start dancing & getting to know each other.. err... better... It was rather difficult painting him (and I'm not sure I did a very good job), since I can only remember seeing him in that one panel - so I'd be quite surprised if you did recognize him

Ahah! Yes, that explains it. I always fancied the idea of a go-back as the what-if mate for Crescent, so iApprove of your choice ^_^  (And I've reread the first 4 books so many times, that even random go-backs we never got names for tend to stick in my head...doesn't surprise me that he looked familiar :P )
In Fear of Failure by Yavia - Posted Jan 16, 2014
THis feels really appropriate for January...the time when everyone is thinking about their failures of 2013 and how to Do Better This Year! :lol

In If Dreams Could Come True by Larialoyla - Posted Dec 31, 2013
Beautiful, and with excellent likenesses of all their faces :) especially crescent....I've tried so many times to capture her bone structure, but I never nailed it this well!

I feel I should know the fellow behind crescent, but I'm coming up short....help?
In These Little Deaths by Maggie Atkinson - Posted Dec 31, 2013
Perfect subject matter for the cover, Maggie :) it gave me a brief vibe that the entire EQ saga was a dream of Timmains while flying the palace....love it
In quick sketches for Foxeye - Posted Apr 22, 2013
Have I ever mentioned that you are way waaaaay to good to Kael and I?  :hug  I was just sorting through moving boxes the other day and came across this. I need to find some way to make a mural of the art I've gotten from you.
In Kayel Bday gift part one for Foxeye - Posted Sep 07, 2012
Did you mean for the two pictures to combine into one with the kitty face in the middle? :) I'm thinking of trying to frame them in the same frame, so I can have the half-faces lined up that way.

Kael says THANK YOU as well. :hug
