This is a picture of when Goodtree found her place in the tribe as a plant-shaper and at one of her key moments, as she was forming and shaping and giving birth to the Father Tree.

Companion piece to the Rillfisher one. This is why she never takes that over-zealous bastard with her.

So this was another vector piece I did with Rillfisher for a sticker design. Kind of a odd style of Elfquest stuff, but I had fun with it.

I was inspired by some stuff I saw on the magical internets, and did this during my lunch break one day. It's all vector, which is really unique for me anyway, more of a photoshop gal myself, but the textures are all from origami paper.

So yeah, um spoilers.

Done for Shadow Vale Holt, run by Laurey Sebok. This is her husband's character, Shadowwing, a bat-winged elf living among the gliders of the Eyrians. I'm happy that out of several artists' renditions, this was the one chosen as the reference illo.

Shadowwing belongs to John Sebok.

One of my characters in World Paths Holt, Sagewinds, The Wolf Elves. He's the son of my character Imapalaswift and Danette Devlin's Topaz. This is an old illo, but I still love the character. Sagewinds Holt won't know what hit them - he has his mother's temper and his father's sense of humor.

Hey, I didn't name him. Friendly, flirty character in Holt of Grand Illusions. Hard to effectively draw tie-dye, but overall, I think he turned out okay. Crystalblue Persuasion belongs to Wendy Yocum.

This is the first of my portraits that I've done start to finish with my cintiq, and I must say, I reaaaaally like the way I work with the cintiq. Lots faster and lots looser. I think I have to go back and re-visit the Tyleet and Leetah ones and get them up to snuff. lol.

My first attempt at Cutter. I still like this piece alot, even though some of the details are really rough *cough* necklace *cough, cough*.

Attempting a more realistic-y style, not that the elves are very realistic-y themselves....lol

Goodtree: cuz she's got mad treeshaping skills and she made the original Father Tree....so that is win.

Snow ® Willowspring


Yeah...not much else to say about this except I love drawing braids, and apparently Snow is bustacular-galore. ....and I make up words. Quick everyone use bustacular-galore 25,000 times so it can be an officially recognized word!

I'm not really dissing on the character...when he's awesome and majestic he's good, but he makes a really awkward and unwieldy chibi.

And seriously....fur banana hammock. Need I say more?

I had this idea for a loooong time, sketched it out, lost that sketch, and then just re-did the piece a year or two later. lol.

There has been debate about the inclusion of the *sob*, but Savah is so emo, and that's why God invented thumbs....so you can block out crap on artwork that you don't like…

This linework took FOREVER.... it was also my first foray into drawing wolves...which I feel was mostly sucessful. This was totally inspired by Wendy's illustration "True Peace". And for me, when I think of dreams, I think of what should have been, but isn't.

Oh yeah, anyone can color this.
