Argh! Another post killed somewhere! Lemme see if I can recall what I previously said:
WOW! This is amazing, Marl! You really captured the essence of Brownberry! I knew immediately who this was before looking at the full image. You used a lot of highlights and shadows that truly bring her to life. Love how you used a blue/violet on the skin, something I still struggle with. It tends to look more like dead skin about to slough off when I do it. Great job! She's lovely! |

Ooh nice to see one of the old school Wolfriders again... It's so sad she was basically just made up to live in the past.
I have a lot of elves living there too, had the habit of making up lots of dead elves. D: |

Mhm, old Wolfriders, especially in Bearclaws time, are Just a lot of fun.
 And Amberfox, most of the blue and purple is added after I find my normal drawing. I then just start to add colours till it looks alright. Indo the same with my real life drawing. (Maybe it helps?) |

It might also help to just pick a purple to use for shading and leave the rest as you originally chose them, I often do that.
