Zharo: Hm. Maphara appears to be correct about the negative effects of prolonged exposure to Bliss-stone...
Yionyi, literally infused with Bliss-stone: How is this surprising?! Prolonged exposure to ANYTHING that amplifies magic powers is dangerous! What kind of fool would make a house out of Bliss-stone and live in it?
-eons later, they find out what happened to the other High Ones-
Yionyi: Oh, for the love of-
Have a very angry Yionyi. XD
My High Ones don't have the same connection to Palace stone the others do, but they do have an orb of it locked away somewhere in Anphal. It was gift from the Circle who were trying to convince them to come with them.
EQ has destroyed sense of heights? Yionyi looks really tiny here, but it could because he's sitting like that. (Then again, he's short. XD)
Kinda just working my way through designs and seeing what I like. Yionyi's suit is his university uniform so I think it has some fancy lines.

I never understood the physiques of the High Ones. Still struggle to draw them. They're so skinny, where do they put the bones and internal organs? Either way, another great humorous image of your gang that give us more idea of their characters. Poor Yionyi just can't get a break, and Zharo is having fun with it (I assume). Love Zharo's expression, just studying the Bliss Stone, scrutinizing it with what seems like a dismissive frown.

Hehehe, I'm so happy Yionyi's getting some love. I was so worried his design was too jarring.
The High One's lore is so vague, I felt I HAD to make some to bulk it up and shake it. I have the same problems, Amberfox. XD I think Wendy drew them way too thin, to make them look extra regal and make them look taller? They're the same height as humans, but I always thought they were significantly taller? (Not helped by the fact they're called High Ones. It gives you the notion they're really damn tall, but their descendents are just really tiny) I do wonder if just doesn't have the same anatomy as humans. They are aliens, after all. |
