So Amberfox and Treefox were very close to the answer. It is in fact Timmain in a half wolf morph. Here she goes by the name of Ice Fur and completely scrabbles Skywise’s head every time she’s around. The main idea here is that Timmain tried of her responsibility's and craving to experience life, shifts into this form every night to go too the wolfriders. Somehow no one recognises her except Cutter, who does decide to keep kt a secret.

I like the thought of a more playful Timmain! She looks rather cute, while a bit emaciated. Nice outfit you gave her! It's so great to see her in something completely different.

High Ones always look like they could use a really big sammich. Or a grandmother ready to feed them at every moment. Somehow, I can't imagine the Wolfriders not realizing it is her, since they seemed to be able to sense she is a High One or at least an elf. Could be wrong, though. Didn't she stay in a half wolf morph when she took on Winnowill? I read that only once, so I could be wrong there as well. Either way, she seems very comfortable and relaxed in this morph, a little playful with the viewer.

Ooooh, I see now why I didn't recognise her earlier... she's wearing clothes!
Icefur is a good name too! Yes Amberfox, it's at the end of Shards I believe! Ah, it's been such a while since I've read everything! I try to reread once a year, usually to get inspiration for the calendar, haha. |

While I don't re-read everything, I do find myself caught up in the stories immediately again when I do research for the calendar.
