...And then of course realised I never uploaded this one here either. It's from when I participated in OC-tober in 2020.
Part of Frozen Rain's redesign was making her human, one with an interest in stories. She still watches over my characters, these days on Toyhouse, but since that will house more than just Elfquest elves, I wanted her to be more all-encompassing.
This one still features pretty much her old clothing design though.

The spirals are so lovely and mesmerizing and I love the limited colors. And the pillows look so comfy!

Thanks! I have all these different colours inking pens, but hardly ever use them. Tried something with them! I figured if I do start colouring this picture, it may be nice if the pattern on her shirt isn't as dark as black and then will fit in better with the rest.

Oh, this is such a wonderful setting and pose. Great perspective on her lovely face. I want to snuggle next to her and also read (which I do much too rarely these days). A wonderful character. Also love the limited color palette.

Oh, that sounds lovely. I miss reading... But there are so many other things happening in my life that need time as well that I just never seem to have time for reading.

I recall this character! I thought of drawing her ages ago and just never got around to it. Hmm, maybe I still should. Her pose is so calm and serene, and the foreshortening on her face is well done. Even though you drew her as a human, I could've easily just thought she was still in her elf form. She's lovely, always thought she was. I'm with both you and Treefox, I was that kid you could leave in a library, and I'd read almost anything in front of me. Before leaving, I'd have my arms loaded with books to check out. It was my only source of happiness when visiting my paternal grandparents. My grandmother didn't know what to do with me and dumped me off at the library for a few hours early on in my visit.

Yeah, same here. I stayed at our lovely local library for hours and carried more books home than I could carry! Luckily I met my foster dad on my way home so he could rescue me from the misery of carrying too many books and dropping them all the time...
