So, another WIP. Songjoy doing his favorite thing: climbing in to a tall, full tree and singing with his sistrum to the rising of the moons and the setting of the sun (as well as the reverse). Not happy with the hands, still working on them. Will add leaves and the treebranch. Hell, the tree in general. I'll get there eventually.

Aw, he just seems so so likable to me. He might want to be alone doing that, but I wish I could join him up there and listen to him bid farewell to the day and hello to the new one. He's super handsome too!

He looks lovely! The instrument reminds me of one we see the Sunfolk use. I love how you draw hair, you make it look so good!

Treefox, Songjoy would absolutely welcome you join him in song. Climb on up! Thank you, and I welcome constructive criticism! Nilla, yeah, the sistrum is an ancient instrument that is basically an open elongated u shaped instrument with bars in between the spaces threaded with small cymbals/rattles/disks. The Sun Villagers have something similar with their two rods strung with rattles/small cymbals/disks between them. Songjoy is basically a troubadour, traveling the world to collect stories and share ones he knows. I've started a sketch where he's in the Sun Village. If anyone reading this has a Sun Village character or two, you may be included! |

Oh that's lovely! Sitting here in the train, drawing and waiting to finally arrive home, I can now imagine myself in the tree with him, bidding the day farewell while listening to his lovely music.
