WIP Jailbreak!

Hope this doesn't spoil it, but here's an illo I'm working on and hope to have done by the weekend. You asked for it, here it is: a WIP. So, Songjoy may occasionally eat fish, but he definitely prefers to avoid eating meat. His empathy has started to affect his ability to hunt and can no longer do so since he feels the fear of the animals. While he understands one must eat to survive, he's absolutely against factory/wholesale slaughtering. He wouldn't hesitate to help Woodbee rescue some chickens. Hope you can see the background, makes it more humorous. But if not, just wait...Oh, and a panicky chicken in the foreground...I think I did a better job here with Woodbee than the previous. Sometimes, I just need to get more familiar with a character to feel confident drawing them.

Again, slow, but I'll get there! The idea just hit me and I grabbed a sheet of paper a few days ago and sketched it out.

Ohhhhh!! I can already tell this is going to be great! What an incredibly awesome idea! It's wondrous to see a WIP from you. Have we ever seen one? The chicken basically splashing in all directions!

Offhand, one I recall distinctly: the splash page of Songjoy's initial sketches. I'd have to check on any others. I have billions of WIPS all over the place, or so it seems. Maybe I could post a few more. Looking at these, I'm already noticing errors I need to correct. Argh. Well, better now than later.
