The 15th Dice Lady

Yeah, another one done together with Yavia. I don't think we'll ever stop making these, it's just too silly! 
As always, done super fast and rather sloppy, so not a great work of art, just a work of fun. Her hand did turn out surprisingly well though... 
Here are her specifications:
Tribe: Glider
Face shape: heart-shaped
Eyes: round
Nose: snub nose (Pike)
Mouth: full
Eye color: frosty blue
Hair: reddish-brown, hip length
Clothing: tights with tunic
Material: leathers and für
Colors: brown and red
Accessories: hair ornament made of wood
Shoes: knee-high boots
Personality: daring
Yep, doesn't fit your typical Glider at all...
Maybe she grew up with the Wolfriders? Now in Blue Mountain she just wants to get out?
Anyway, great fun to draw her!
Next thing I will do is design book covers for a commercial project, so, sadly, a break from Elfquest art.

Yeah, Gliders are difficult. I'm trying to come up with an elf self Glider, and all I keep ending up with is someone who wants to leave
She looks like she's enjoying some sort of stone maze, a treasure hunt of some sort. Perhaps set up by someone else who longs for adventure? |

I think she looks plenty Glider and very lively! For me it's the head piece, it has an Glider feel to it.

Yea! New Treefox art! And another dice character on top of it all! Interesting autumn colors for her, but she would blend in quite well with the autumn season foliage. The humans would never see her coming! Love the head piece, but I get very strong vibes of Beyond's antlers from this. Inspiration? Maybe I'm reading too much into it. It does add some fun, playfulness to her appearance. She does look very expressive, and her gesture/body language definitely suggests daring, even bold. Don't know how long she'd last, but I suspect she'd give Winnowill some grief. Yeah, Afke, if I created a sELF for each holt, Blue Mountain would be very difficult for me as well. I'd be creating chaos and escaping at first chance. Just not my sort of scene. It would make an interesting challenge, though: create a sELF for each holt!

Ohh I like her! Rebel/daring characters are so cool! I really like though that she would contrast the typical glider very well. I wish you luck with those book covers!

Thank you all for your input! Love so much to hear your thoughts! Truly inspiring.
 In my head it would make most sense, that she's half glider half Wolfrider. We really don't see such quirrel cheeks and snub node within the Glider tribe... Yeah, her being on an adventure or treasure hunt would fit I think. But I also agree that life within Blue Mountain might be quite a torture for this adventurous girl.  @Marl: thanks! It's going to be quite a challenge and they will probably not be used in the end, but it's so much fun to do something like this. I have done book illustrations in the past and loved it. It's actually my OG dream job: to be a book illustrator. @Amberfox: a sELF for every holt is an intriguing idea indeed! Oh, the head piece was not inspired by Beyond, maybe unconsciously... The dice said it should be a head piece made out of wood, so I tried to come up with something remotely Glider-esque. |

I have been thinking of this for a while, and Tukteh came out of it. But I did draw a Go-back me years before which I would redo now, and Droomoog was my first elf and and basically elf self but for 17yo me, so would redo that (Wolfrider self) as well. I am thinking the two could live side by side though, like siblings, an old and new elf self, and I'm thinking I could do such a thing for Gliders as well. But then a would-leave-because-Blue-Mountain-is-suffocating-me one and one who would fit in and who would it be then.
