Helloooo! I finally noticed Marl's art of Beyond the other day and it woke up my orange hair menace. I sensed there's a bit of demand to see him again so I have a a few drawings to share!
He's still in the white pelt/horns design and he's very fond of it so I don't think he's going back to the jester look again. (I love ancient elves, they're so interesting.)
Here he's with with Uli and watching somebody running around and yelling below their den in Anphal.
Note: Uli's markings are somewhat like Vitiligo. I like the idea of the Firstborn's shape not being completely "locked", so her patches look like the conehead's skin which I've imagined is iridescent. It makes some of her hair white and her left eye gold.

Yay, new Nilla art! There's some tension in this drawing, like something is about to happen...

I might draw him as jester again, but I feel it would end up looking very different from his old rags. I've always wanted to draw something nicer, but I'm just not able to draw. (Also I'm terrible at drawing hats.) |

Ohh, how wonderful to them again! I just loooove how Uli's hair is falling. Gorgeous! Great, detailed outfits again, I'd love to see them in color. Beyond still seems to have his eye makeup.

Ayoooah and happy welcome back! Been gone too long! Great that Marl and Woodbee have inspired us on the site to grab a pen/pencil/stylus and get busy again! Uli and Beyond seem to perfect together, although I admit don't know a lot about them as a couple, but somehow from just viewing the illos of them, I like them as a pair. Interesting take on her skin tone. I, for one, am a fan of his latest look. I've seen antlers used here and there in the fandom, but Beyond definitely rocks the look. if it means anything or helps, I'm not good at hats, either. I thought you did a good job with the jester's hat, though. Great to have you and the orange haired menace back in action!

Yay, iridescent High Ones and shape-strange Firstborn! Yes! Would you mind if I tried my hand at drawing Beyond and Uli? The sense I'm getting from him is eerie exterior but (slightly cranky) worrywart dad interior, and from her... mama bear? I really enjoy his aesthetic, with the hand-shaped horns and slouching, crouching posture. I'm really curious about his mom who helps him with shaping his body to his preferences, and I think I saw they have a kid running around, too? I need to look around more and see who these people are!

Thank you so much! Don't worry too much, Amberfox. I've never been good at describing their relationship XD I can't even decide how they recognize. They just tend to reach an equilibrium when they're together, because they're both very odd people by themselves and they aren't that social with others. (Uli has always been EXTREMELY hard to write and she's only gotten harder, but she seems happier.) I've tried to give them other mates and they just end up back together. Oh goodness! Woodbee, I'd love to see them drawn by you! (I've seen your comic pages, they're amazing! Ancient elves and High Ones are my favs) Beyond's mother is Darkfire, the lady who shapes his horns is his grandma, Khisthel. XD I'll get something written up. Beyond is basically a bundle of weird/eerie and would be the main villain to the "heroes" of their tribe if they had that dynamic (I'm not sure who the heroes would be) I like to think Beyond could basically be villain if people need a trouble maker. (He wouldn't kill other elves, but he enjoys bickering and pushing them to do better if that makes sense) Uli is a mama bear! She might not look it here (because I'm bad with heights) but she's taller and stronger than Beyond and will just pick him up and fling him onto her shoulder if he's being annoying. (If they had a Cutter/Leetah meeting, Uli is the one abducting him). She's quiet and stern, serious. He's the only person that can make her smile. They have a whole bunch of kids! Little Lark is their firstborn. (I have to redesign her) |

Okay, I saw this freaked out and couldn’t find the time to respond. Nilla I love your style so much! Uli‘s hair is so magnificent! AMD SHE‘S TALLER THAN HIM! He got himself my dream woman right there. I might draw her slinging him over her shoulder it’s and brilliant idea. I hope we can continue to inspire you! <3
