I love these long lean body types... especially when they're paired with a round and squishy one, like Maleen and Ruffel, or Venka and Tyleet. I built off Dove and Windwhisper/Mountain Tamer using each other's soul names in one of their stories, and had them be lifemates, although they both also had children with male lifemates. There was SO much relationship drama in Preypacer's time, and it sailed right over his fluffy little head...
I'd say Dove got her dad's tall runner's build, and passed it down through her children to, eventually, Clearbrook. Wouldn't you?

I have some characters with that sort of skinny frame, or at least tall and lanky. I should post Sablequill - think Joey Ramone as an elf! I like the character design, she's not your typical curvy, sexy feminine lady. Nothing wrong with the look, but variety is a lot more fun and true to life. Like a lot of tall, lanky individuals, her pose has a quirky awkwardness to it that I like as well as her hallux being turned up. While she was one to get the work done, she also seems like one that could have a lot of mischievous fun. I don't recall reading about her offhand, though. Sigh. You're forcing me to go back and read! Good thing I love to read...

I also love variations on body types! And so so grateful that I could grow up with Elfquest as my guide as to that there are many different body types in this world. Something that Elfquest does so much better than you average super hero comic where all the male and female heroes always seem to sport the super buff/super sexy body type...
Dove looks so good and that wonderful outfit supports her look so well! |
