Fault Lines
by Woodbee
Rellah was the cause of so much strife. She was an unhappy lady - a miserable answer to the question 'how do we live here?' asked by the wrong person of the wrong person, and painfully jealous of the better answer her mother-figure found in the wolves. Preypacer, Softfoot, and Moonwreath took too long to sort out their own business, and didn't take the growing rancor between their children seriously.

Wow! So much detail and attention to all the action and emotion here! The characters in the background, Rellah, I think Greywolf and maybe Willowgreen, almost steal the scene for me. Something about their presence is very captivating! The interaction between Huntress Skyfire and Two Spear is perfect and absolutely hilarious! I can almost hear their bickering while proud daddy PreyPacer remains obliviously, well, proud. I honestly don't recall much, but I do remember reading aspects of what's depicted here. Yeah, never truly understood Rellah's character, even though she appears to be quite popular with the fanbase. Don't remember Moonwreath. Hmm. Will have to check on that, but I find the way you drew her to be intriguing. Softfoot looks a bit in the background for such a foreground character. Lovely drawing of her, though, and it looks like a Palace shard for her spearhead. While the colors are rather muted here, I really love the overall look of this, especially with so much going on, you almost see something new each time you look at it. It also truly draws in the viewer and compels you to want to read the story behind the cover image. So gorgeous!

I never liked Rellah! She was always so over the top annoying to me. Always bitching... Geez! Softfoot and Moonwreath are gorgeous, of course. Love what you did with their eyelashes. So effective! Little Skyfire and Two-Spear are absolute show-stealers for me though. The perfect depiction of bickering siblings!
