The Long Walk

Timmorn's quest was simply to survive; to help (or force) his pack, elf and wolf both, live until they could figure out how to do more than that.  The elves and wolves bred, some eagerly and some reluctantly.  Each child, each life, and each death answered a little more of the great question: "How can we live here?"
Until the question became, "Who are we, who live here thus?" and Timmorn's time gave way to Rahnee's.

Oh, this is gorgeous! Did you do a comic or is this a one-off idea? You have done Timmorn justice! I remember several of the comics that featured him did not, made him look more like he was half furry bug or muppet...or something. Great facial expression, you can see the determination and resolve. Also the tension in his seemingly relaxed pose. Wish I could see Sefra and Murrel more closely, but they look amazing. Timmain and Firstsniff being including, emphasizing the dichotomy of the two species/packs that have merged (from your description) he must help is perfect. "Perpetuated by Avid Fan," don't know if that's your pen name somewhere, but it still has me laughing. Honestly, aren't we all avid fans here? Beautiful image, would be absolutely perfect as a comic series by your hands! Welcome, Woodbee! Love your work!

I've got partial scripts for each of these comics that I've done covers for, but I haven't started drawing any of them except for Welcome To The World's first story, 'Once of Stars.'  It's, you know.  Had I but world enough and time.
(We are, we are!  Avid fans, all!)
Also, I can look back through my files.  I'm pretty sure I saved the ladies as a separate layer, and could grab a close-up of them from the big working file.

Would love to see that! They've been featured here and there on the site and from fans in general, but how you've drawn them here really has my interest. And would love to see your comic! Yeah, I know the feeling about time. Isn't it amazing how we have all the time in the world as cubs and never enough of it as adults? Again, amazing work! And is your avatar Woodbee?

Yes!  Woodbee: A short, industrious recluse who spends any time away from their duties to the tribe making things of great beauty where no-one is likely to see them.
I'll upload a few more things tomorrow - I've run out of words, tonight.

Oh, no rush! Whenever you have the time (what's that?) and inclination. I lurk. And I don't have much more time to post myself. Gotta get ready for work, since I work a swing third/first. Great to see the "face" behind the name. Look forward to a full body!

Oh Woodbee sounds like a wonderful character! I can't wait to hear more about them  ;D. If you ever going to come around to doing the comics please please post them! Your work I am sure is a marvel.

Goooosh! How great is this? Timmorn looks so great, strong and wild here. Just perfect! He's not easy to draw, I think. Love his expression. And the colors you chose for him. I wonder why Wendy made his so reddish? Anyway, Sefra and Murrel in the background are also mindblowingly beautiful! (Thanks for pointing out it's Murrel and Sefra, Amberfox. Makes total sense, but I wouldn't have thought of it.) Their outfits are stunning. And the inclusion of the wolves is, indeed, genius. And you said comic? Wha--? Comic??? Of course we want that! All in good time, of course. We'll be here. :)
And Woodbee sounds and looks interesting! Also always eager to see people's own characters.
