Gibra and Baby Voll

I think Gibra needs more love. Anyone ever notice she looks similar to Leetha? It struck me while drawing this. Anyways the baby is supposed to be Voll (I do believe that she is his mother).

Great work on this! Gibra was a character I had trouble truly understanding, but she seemed a very gentle, sweet soul. Wish we knew what became of her (of does anyone out there know?). You did a really great baby face on Vol (Voll, yeah, I'm thinking they could be the same as well), which is something many have difficulty doing. The only thing I would suggest in the future to improve on the overall image is to have Gibra supporting Vol's head more, maybe by extending her right arm a bit so the head rests in the crook of it or at least against the arm itself. Love the border and background color for this and the almost saintly glow around Gibra. Matches the personality I am familiar with her perfectly. Such a tender, serene image!

Thank you for the suggestion, I in all honesty don’t really know how baby’s work. I tried to use some references so at least his face turned out fine

Oh, how glowing! She really looks like an ancient icon drawing. So so lovely. Yes, Gibra wasn't explored in detail that much in the stories, but I was always a fan of her looks and her dress. To see her with baby Voll is really touching. A beautiful picture.
