I found it always so sad that we didn’t see more of their relationship.

Yes, indeed it is nice to see these three together a bit more. This surely must be Pike's dream!

I think Pike's Dream is more about having someone serve him an endless supply of dreamberries! As GoBacks, I imagine Skot and Krim have saved some of those berries for themselves. Ever imagine a drinking contest between these three? The trio all seem to be blissfully happy here.
