Treefox’s winter outfit

Another rushed pic of my sElf. I was just so inspired to give her a winter outfit that I drew and inked this during my lunch break. Now I slapped some colors onto it and here we are. 
Does she look like me? Not really, except for her nose, which is perfect! 
But she sorta feels like me if that makes sense. Anyway, this was a fun littlest interlude, I will now continue with good old Treestump.
Oh: this was done traditionally, but with some digital after effects.

Hurray! I somehow feel I inspired this! Love the outfit and despite being a quick illo, it looks gorgeous! And she looks so damn happy. Look at that smile! I only wish I had half that joy this time of year. So many complain about the heat and humidity of summer, but I'm wearing three layers of thick heavy clothes, sucking down enough hot chocolate to keep the dairy industry going for years, and I still can't get warm. All I want to do is hibernate until it's over. Getting stranded at work for 12 hours doesn't help, either. Evil! Evil! Damn, off topic, sorry...such a wonderful, joyous illo that definitely draws you into it, makes you smile as well. Love the use of traditional media even though you do stunning digital work. Glad you were inspired to draw this, even if I didn't contribute to it, because we got this great illo. I'm almost done with my latest color work (damn leaves), but I think it'll have been worth the effort. Let's keep the site going! Hmmm, Amberfox and Songjoy both originate from colder holts, both should have had winter attire back then (before Amberfox grew in his mustache, too!)...hmmm....

Oh, I'm happy that you like the outfit! I sat here cuddled up in my warm clothes, everything was sunny and snowy and glittering outside and I just felt inspired. One day, I really have to make a non-rushed, proper Treefox illo. And you did contribute! Without the inspiration from you, Treefox would've never seen the light of day! Working with traditional colors was so much fun again. I hope I can sneak some tradtional work in now and then. I also wish, I could help you with the cold. Man, that sounds so awful. Love me a hot chocolate, though! Wish I could just sit you down in front of our lovely oven, wrap you up in blankets and serve a nice, declicous hot chocolate.
 And I don't miss 12 hour work days! That IS evil! Also, am really giddy for your next pic!!  And if this makes you want to draw Amberfox and Songjoy in winter outfits, I sure wouldn't mind...  |

I can recognise you in there but I guess I can relay on the "feels like me". I do know that feeling but I do not draw myself, so it's kinda wired for me to say that.
I imagine a late afternoon in here, when the sun is nearly sunken. Love the bluish shading. Fits perfect in this winterscene. The colors of the outfit are superb. Does the fur get wet at her toes? Real one on an animal not so much, but this one maybe? Looks very traditional, can't see much digital effect's. It's so nice to see art from you. |

 You can actually tell whether this looks like me! I also find it very weird to draw a character that looks like me .. I can get my nose and face shape right, but I cannot yet figure out the right way to catch the shape of my eyes... For some people I find it quite easy to draw a comic version or caricature of .. I myself seem not to be one of them. And, of course, those boots don't make that much sense... Next time I should add a firm shoe sole underneath. That would work! But I'm happy you like my little Treefox quick pic. |
