Cinderella bonus 2 - Strongbow as The Prince

By popular demand I did Strongbow as the prince, chasing after Cinderella (Moonshade) as she flees the ball. Man, that outfit on Strongbow made me giggle all the time while I was drawing it... 
Poor Strongbow. I could feel him grumble at me the whole time...
So, this is it for my Cinderella project. And probably the last piece of art for this year.

Okay, gotta admit I NEVER would've thought of stuffing Strongbow in this outfit! I can easily imagine him being very grumpy at you for it, well, grumpier than usual anyway. Despite that, this is a great illo and a lot of fun. His legs seem a bit long, but he's going to need them to catch Moonshade. The outfit is actually really well done and detailed even though this is a quick sketch, but so strange on Strongbow! In fact, a cape and tights on Strongbow...Anyway, love the series and hope to see a lot more work from you this coming year. Know that your art is gorgeous and inspiring, so please keep up the great work!
And I have just a small corner of my first of six illos left to color. And although not related to each other, it's my turn to upload art! |

Oh, High Ones! I never would have imagined Strongbow in that outfit, either! It was a request and of course, the image popped up in my head immediately. So, it was to be not one bonus picture but two. Now I have to face the wrath of Winnowill and Strongbow!
now that is frightening.  I wanted to emphasize his legs not just because he has these great sinewy legs,but also because it would look even more silly, especially with that golden garter belt! And you are so right: now I will lay back and enjoy your art! Ohhhh, this is going to be wonderful!

Oh, I wonder if I can now ever see Strongbow without the connection to the prince.
 He's really chasing after her.

Hahaha, I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Will we see Strongbow wear a garter belt on every picture of him forever? It does make me giggle, though!
