Seeing people doing their projects is inspiring me to continue some of mine 
In one of my many, many AU’s, Trinket was left behind during the King saga, while her family was brought forward in time.
You cannot convince me that this trio did not manage to find mischief at one point during their cubhood. Honestly it is a crime that we didn’t see Venka get into some mischief during hers, with Tyleet around? Come on.
This is just a sketch so far, trying to fit everyone into the same canvas so that I can get it onto a paper.

Oh!! I'm so so happy that you feel inspired.
 Wow, I love this AU! That would have been awesome fun to see. They would have made a great trio infernal.  I always love seeing sketches and this one is no exception. It's super dynamic, the movement is jumping off the page! Running is not easy to draw and you managed to find super interesting poses. Also really nice that you chose a different color for each character, I'm sure that will help with the next stages. Looking forward to see this evolve. Thanks for sharing! |

Ah, Thank you! I got the idea from the Scroll of Colors forum, a thread there was called Tribe Switch, but honestly this fits into the Role Reversal too. As for this being the Trio Infernal, right??? Poor Strongbow would grow his beard prematurely if those three could team up. Which may be why Wendy chose to not let it happen, haha!
When it came to the poses, it took so long to find good poses. Google really has gone downhill, trying to find poses is ten times harder now than what it was only two years ago! Years ago I came across tips from a Donald Duck cartoonist giving advice, they said one of the ways they made their comics more dynamic, despite all the frames being essentially the same size and they had to have the exact same layout back in the day, was to make sure the figures were not having the same pose, even if they were all running or doing the same thing. It really stuck with me and I tried to implement it. |

Love the premise of this illo of the mischievous trio running wild in their youth. I can easily see that and wish that had been cannon. Can you imagine how that would've impacted Trinket? I'm good with her being the gold standard of womanly trollness, but having her more independent would've been even better. In my opinion, of course. Love the poses for each, very dynamic and clearly shows they are in full action, ready to cause the adults headaches. The one thing I would suggest if you're still in the sketch phase, I think some of the weight should be shaved off Venka and put onto Trinket to improve the illo. Elfin cubs can be pudgy, like most young, but they still tend to the thin side. Trolls tend to the very round side, which they maintain is beautiful (and why not?). Can't wait to see the final version of this!
