Cervidtaur Leora
by Amberfox
I have debated posting this for ages. Did the drawing years ago and finished coloring it back in 2019 or 2020. This is Insertio's Leora from Berit's RPGs as a cervidtaur, cervid being the scientific name for any member of the deer family. I made her a red deer, since they are supposedly found in Finland but are rare. I know there are issues with it, but I thought it was good and I put a ton of work into it! I tried a few different styles in the design, not sure if they are obvious, but again, I tried and put a lot of work into it. The background is what seriously slowed me down. Sadly, the reds and oranges are dead, but imagine this is far more vibrant. I think I sent the original to Berit.
Again, July has been too quiet and I didn't want it to linger. Will try to post again before August. Either way, happy birthday to me, this and "This Won't End Well" are my gifts for the day to this site. Take'em as you will.

It doesn't appear that way to me now, either. So, maybe I had to get out and back into the website or someone corrected it for me. Either way, it does look correct now. Thank you for the compliment and the wish! I also did one of Leora as a merelf and a butterfly winged fairy alongside a unicorn. Had no idea she actually HAD a unicorn! Well, live and learn. Anyway, glad to have you back in the fold, eagerly anticipating some new art from you!

Oh wow! This really blows me away! Those saturated colors are delicious! Her design is absolutely beautiful. Just imagine stumbling across such a magnificent creature in the woods. You put in so many details. Just wonderful, wonderful work! I'm glad you posted this.

Wow, those flower details look awesome! I'd like to forward this to Insertio, if that's ok? I'm sure he'd be happy to see it!

Thank you, Czarine! But there’s no need, I actually sent the original to Berit when I finished it and he’s since posted it to his art website (listed/linked in a couple of places on this site). I assume he has since also shown it to Insertio. It’s been WAY too quiet from Finland! How are you three doing? Stop being strangers!

Oh, I see! I've been a bit out of the loop myself, since I moved back from Spain to Finland on Oct 3rd, and I've yet to settle (my pc and stuff is still in Barcelona). I'm trying to get used to drawing with my iPad and Procreate, it's a learning curve!
