The light and shading in this is perfect, and Old Maggoty needs a lot more love. You truly captured her personality in this; such an enigma, at once playful and charismatic, and at the same time, a bit shady and manipulative. I always wondered what she knew about the history of the races and just how much she was involved. Definitely an interesting character and deserving of being in the calendar.

Yessss!!! Perfect Maggoty! Of course, I am pleased to get your art for one whole month this year! A real treat. The slightly eerie, witchy lightning is perfect for Old Maggoty. Love the texture on her dress and the background, her slightly omnious smile that can be read in many different ways. She is a fascinating character just like Amberfox says. Conniving, manipulative but also there is good will and sometimes friendliness. You captured that perfectly.
Oh, I almost forgot: I loooove the little creatures lurking in the dark! |

That must be some vintage brew, indeed. It seems to be full of magic. An interesting mixture of darker and brighter parts in the image. And she looks pretty satisfied with her Dreamberry brew. I wonder who the little beings could be that only show their eyes from shady corners.

Ah, I adore it! The way she is posing, she almost look like a fisherman bragging about her catch, showing the best bush, it is so great =D I also just now noticed the little eyes looking at her, looks like hey want the best vintage too! I also like the light you've used.

That play with two light sources is just stunning! Wonderfully and skillfully executed! And the character herself looks great, too. You really show her cunning-ness and confidence.
