Wow! You colored it! very nice picture! we rarely see art about yellowish wolves (there are wolves of that color in real life, but they are rare!) the shading make him instantly pop more! thank you so much for coloring! may I post this at my art page at Tumblr? I will credit you!...

Wow! I never would've thought of this kind of color palette. So cool! (Or should I say warm?

Thank you! Yeah, I am not quite sure why, but when I looked at that handsome sketch, somehow I wanted to try this wolf in a warm yellow and green palette. Basked in sunlight...
I also have seen wolves like this, but as you say Berit, they are not very common. But despite, we know that Elfquest wolves come in all colors. ![]() |

This is gorgeous! Very inviting and soft despite the intense stare of the wolf

I love the contrast between the warm palette and the intense stare of the wolf! I wonder who he is judging?

Very simple but effective. It does appear to be a summer afternoon with the warm colors and the cool green shades. Yes, Elfquest wolves tend to come in all colors, and I've seen yellow-yellow-ish wolves. That intense stare suggest to me the wolf is sizing up a herd of tasty prey just "off screen." Will it be the young one? The elderly one? The sickly one? Dinner will soon be served!
