In the tradition of Mirror and her stunning art, "Our Tribe," I was inspired to do similar. Initially, I was going to group them as Mirror has, but then I got lazy trying to get everyone organized (especially since some do not have heights listed) and complicated because I kept the individual illos large. I also wanted to draw characters that haven't had a lot of time in the spotlight, for the most part. As always, the scanner just doesn't do the colors justice, but at least you can get an idea of what I was going for. I already have about a dozen characters drawn, but I intend to color them all instead of inking them. Takes longer, but I just felt like trying to do it. I hope I've done everyone justice, but if I haven't, let me know and I'll make the corrections. And if anyone would really like to see what I can do with their character(s), contact me. Here's Elftanner's Snowskin from World of Danen. Thought I'd have her ice fishing since one illo Elftanner had her holding a large fish. Had to get it from somewhere. Bonus points for anyone that can identify the fish species. I tried to get close, so if I succeeded, someone out there might be able to identify it.

I love the movement in this, the way the fishline and the hair flow so well, contrasted with the salmon swinging the oposite way. It's great!

Nice pose and great flow of movement! and I gotta say I do not know what fish that is! it kinda looks like a Salmon but not really, no Salmon that I know of have a red mouth, if it is a salmon it most looks like Coho Salmon or Chum Salmon... but that bump on the back also makes it look like Pink Salmon! I honestly don't know and I wanna know!...

Thank you everyone, and I'm so glad you like it, Elftanner. I thought she was an interesting character, especially those rather bold, bright colors in such a typically limited palette environment. She just seemed to have a lot of personality.

And Berit, Treefox, you're not too far off. Berit, you win for being the closest: it is an arctic char. These fish are in BOTH the trout and salmon family, and physically resemble salmon.
