My rendition of Threetoe from Coming of Age. I was actually going to use him in my calendar illustration, and made this to try figuring out how he looked like. I decided against it last minute. Also it was fun to try an inkwash.

You should do more ink washes. This looks lovely and organic!

Thank you! I found it really intuitive medium, not too different from watercolor but it didn't flow as much, it made me feel like it was easy to control.

Yes, the way the ink flows and dries looks very nice! Lovely pic. Also, I think I dreamed about having to wear a false beard maybe because of this pic. The beard was super annoying when trying eat or drink...

Berit, it's kinda vague. In the stories the tribe is divided into three when Timmorn leaves to let Rahnee in charge. The true elves, the firstborn and those in between or after, called the Hunt. Threetoe is the leader of the latter group. He is related to Timmorn, but it doesn't say if he is a son or if it is three times removed or... so yeah. I did like doing inkwashing, I should do more.
