Story illo for Janett Beasley's "A Most Surprising Event" in Holt of Grand Illusions. Humans have abducted the heavily pregnant WindDreamer (Janett Beasley) and her lifemate Teranin (Danette Devlin) has called for holtmates to help rescue her. During the battle with the humans, Timberlore (Deb Trimble) and Arrowflash (Beth Blackburn) have rushed the line of human archers to take them out. As the illo suggests, they're more than happy to do so. So many options, so little time. I may add a bit more to the background before calling it finished, but haven't decided on what to do just yet.

Wow, even from behind the humans seem stunned at those two gorgeous ladies rushing at them! Don't know what I love most! The clothing, the hair, the expressions, the great weapon design? Great Illustration!
