Marut asleep

I finally got a stylus for my second-hand cintiq, so I had to test it out. It works! I doodled a quick Marut, just to see if the drivers worked correctly, and slapped some colors on it so if wouldn't look too dull.

That is effing lovely! What? Just a little tryout sketch and come slapped-on colors look like this? You are a marvel! It looks so sweet and cozy. Makes me miss my bed.

I would never have assumed this was a test with unfamiliar materials or techniques. You did an excellent job with the shading and colors, but equally with the serenity of Marut's calm rest. I have to admit, I wish I could do the same when the sun rises (I'm very light sensitive).  It is simplistic and yet detailed to draw the eye of the viewer and get the "feel" of the scene.
